Great little local place in Boonsboro. Owner very friendly. She was putting blankets outside for anyone needing them with the snow storm coming. I had the French toast and they had real maple syrup not the table syrup.
There are board games on one wall so if you grab a sandwich and a board game you could easily spend a couple hours relaxing with your family. Wonderful atmosphere. I’ll be back.

The staff was very friendly and happy. She was a pleasure. The atmosphere was ok, and the fact that they had games to play while we waited for our food was great! The lobster bisque was tasty, but the french toast platter was dry, portion sizes were small, and the price was very high. So overall, the staff was wonderful, but the food was high priced and small portions, and left a lot to be desired.

My son is doing the 50 mile run here. I walked into the shop for coffee but instead I sit down for breakfast. I ended up had my best breakfast. I took the recommendation from the owner for the omelet. It sure was the best one. They serve it all day long. I need to bring my family back here again.

This place is absolutely fabulous. The menu has fantastic breakfast options and a vast selection of entrees and sandwiches. The pretzel from the appetizer menu is absolutely the best pretzel I have ever had. The staff are prompt, nice, knowledgeable and fun. The Diner also has a store within. A selection of candy and novelty items. This is a must if you are in the Washington County area. I highly recommend!

This is my hiking group’s go-to spot after a backpacking trip! The owners food is all recipes from her grandma, and are cooked with the same amount of love. It’s a lovely spot and they recently updated their decorations. Cannot stress enough that the food is delicious, the staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is cozy, and the coffee is flowing! There are also vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options available!

Went here after a visit to Crystal grottos caverns, nice quaint little place attached to a mini mart as the name implies, serve breakfast lunch and dinner all day which was helpful for out little picky eaters, food was pretty good, they had a bunch of board games that were fun to play while we wait. Loose a star for food because the chicken nuggets and fries platter was not very good, fries were overcooked, not too bad, we still ate them. But still highly reccomend, really cute place with really friendly and good service

I just popped in on a hot, sunny day in search of a fountain Diet Coke for a friend. I was greeted by a lovely woman named Michelle, who turned out to be the owner of this lovely little place offering food and ice cold beverages. My mini Mart and Dream Diner is a place I have heard of through word of mouth. Its reputation has spread through town and to the not so far away ear of friends in Frederick who told me about this place and said I should go they have good food I should try. My friends sang its praises for great friendly service and a quaint atmosphere. On this day, I was checked out by a very polite young man named Grayson. All I needed was a cold drink, but I promised him I would be back soon for lunch. I love the vibe this place has going as I am a sucker for friendly and manners. Anytime I am treated kindly by people, I am drawn there again and again. Check this quaint small town gem out if you are near Antietam Battlefield or Crystal Grottoes Caverns as it is not far away. Don’t be put off by the main street location as there are three spots right near the door plus on street parking and almost unlimited parking a short walk from the back of the building.

Dont make the same mistake I did. I thought this would be a decent place just to get a sandwich for the family. My daughter ordered an italian cold cut and when the food came out the salami was grey and the pepperoni was half grey. When I told the waitress that there was something wrong with the meat she told me it was italian meat and that is what it is suppose to look like. We paid and left for fear of getting sick. The owner said she would refund the italian cold cut but at that point if you would serve someone a sandwich that looked like that I cant trust anything else you serve.

I stopped in for a quick lunch while driving through Boonsboro. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got the Reuben with chips, and an iced tea. The Reuben was served on toasted marble rye, and was great, and was exactly what I was looking for. There is a small market there as well, with cooler drinks, chips, and other assorted goods. This is a casual place, and looking at the menu it seems they have a lot of great breakfast items.

We came in for a late breakfast, and the food and the coffee was great! Michelle had wonderful stories to tell about the history of the building – fascinating! Well worth the trip!
