Yum! Delicious. I’d been on the local reddit sub looking at all the people recommending this place. I ordered Mexican corn quesadillas with lots of Oaxacan cheese and shrimp, and a delicious jamaica. The young women working out front were lovely. Nice atmosphere.

Brilliant little place. Super tasty food, excellent portions, quick friendly service and all for a VERY reasonable price.
The staff were quiet, friendly and attentive. I can’t remember having a better Mexican so naturally ate more than I should, but I dot not regret it!
We lucked out finding this place so make sure you go see them very soon!

Authentic Mexican place. Their Nopal tacos were excellent and so was the Mexican coffee, that is a must try. This is a quiet gem, don’t miss.

4.5/10 Birria Tacos

Tacos were average and tasted kind of sweet which im assuming might of been because of the tortilla but whatever. Never had a borria taco like that in my life. Would not recommend.

The food here is not good. We ordered at 2:30 on a Friday, only ones in there. The tamale was large but it’s 90% masa and the cheese was chewy and tough. These are some of the worst I’ve had. The black beans and refried beans lack any flavor and seem like they are unseasoned out of a can. I don’t think salt exists in that kitchen. The rice was bland and pretty much all the food had zero flavor to it. It’s impressive to see Mexican food done this poorly. I would not recommend this spot when there are many others in the area that do it much better.

I had the quesabirria and it was lovely! Great portions at a good value for lunch. I’m excited to come back and try their other options.

We are in vacation in Jersey City and wanted some mexican food to enjoy the evening. We were not disappointed by this place! First of all, the decor was warm and colourful, we loved it. The ambiance was good with background Christmas music. The staff was very friendly, it’s a family owned business. The food was even more amazing: we took the guacamole and chips for appetizers, pollo empanizado con ensalada to eat and Jarritos for drinks. Very tasty food, different flavours, homemade corn tortillas. On top of that, the food was very affordable (13$ for a big plate of chicken/salad/rice/beans + 3 corn tortillas). While we were eating and on our way back home, we couldn’t stop saying how great the food tasted and how full we were. That says it all!

I ordered birria tacos for takeout here last night and they were HORRIBLE. It’s a shame because this area of NJ has the best mexican food (Newark, Bayonne, Passaic) , I tried to give this place a chance because I haven’t heard about it and I was incredibly disappointed. Masa (dough) for the tortillas was mushy (which is not good for any tacos let alone birria which should be crispy to hold the taco together while you dip in the consome) , super stingy with the meat on the inside and the onions and cilantro was on the side and definitely not enough for 3 tacos.

Came for visit to nyc for a week from Canada and we wanted to try some mexican food. By accident we found this place and we wantes to give it a try. The waitress was very welcoming and the restaurants is nicely decorated with Mexican decors. We tried the Mexican soft drink “Jarritos” and it tasted very good (better than coca cola). We had chips, beans, rice, salads and fried chicken with fresh corn tortillas. Honestly, the best Mexican restaurants that I have ever eaten. Strongly recommend to come here. Also, it is a family owned restaurant so I like to support that. I will definitively come back here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a new Mexican restaurant, and it was such a delightful experience! Im so happy they opened up-it’s just what the area needed. The food, the drinks, and the overall atmosphere were awesome.

I had birria tacos and highly recommended. One of the best ones I had. I’m looking forward to my next visit!
