We really like the atmosphere here. The fish tacos are probably my favorite. The beer is cold and the portions are very generous. Of course the complimentary chips and homemade salsa are great too. It’s a great place to meet our friends as there is plenty of seating.

This was my first time here, and it did not disappoint! Chips and salsa were fresh, the salsa was thicker than most and not too spicy. Their authentic grilled fish and grilled chicken tacos are probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Now, if you’re an American taco fan who wants the lettuce, tomato, and cheese, you’ll be disappointed. These are authentic and very simple with onion, cilantro, radish, and lime to squeeze over the top. I’m sure they can accommodate the other fixings, too. I did see an entree served in a bowl made out of lava from a volcano . That was too much for today, but I’ll probably stop by to try that in the next few days. He said they are also located in Beardstown and Jacksonville.

Quick, friendly service. Food was very good. Salsa sucked…both mild and “hot”…hot was very vinegary and salty with no heat. Chips damn good, chili rellenos was fantastic, chicken, queso and rice to die for my sister said!

Have ate there twice. Was hoping the 1st experience was a fluke..but it wasn’t. Both times the food was disappointing. Definitely not quality Mexican food. Drive to Rushville and eat at Los Charros.

It hurts to see the original place gone, this used to be a small-town diner. It wasn’t great, but it was cozy.
I haven’t gone to this place for that reason. But I finally did, and wow. It’s a completely different place on the inside. The inside of this building is nothing you would ever expect to be sitting in a town with such a small population. It’s beautiful, and of course the food is amazing!
