We were the only ones in here when I went, which I found enjoyable. Our waiters/cooks started our orders immediately, and all of the food tasted amazing! I would recommend the eggrolls and egg drop soup, so delicious!

Everything I have had here is amazing.
Even the “normal” American Chinese orange chicken was phenomenal.
Definitely not using canned orange chicken sauce that you get at every other Chinese restaurant.
Even the sweet and sour sauce for the crab Rangoon was not the run of the mill sweet and sour sauce.
Be adventurous order from the authentic side of the menu you can’t go wrong.

The food was amazing! One of the best Chinese restaurants in Grand Rapids and a lot of vegetarian options too!! Scallion pancakes, dry pot, and string beans are a must.

First time ordering from here and probably my last. The food was not that appetizing, some pieces of the beef were chewy and some were tough , orange chicken had a lot of tiny pieces mixed in and it was pretty dry there should be some more sauce. Maybe I should of gotten something else but this is what Im familiar with so i got this.

Lamb with Cumin was good. Scallion Pancakes were tasty as well just a bit greasy. Singapore noodles were not good. Shrimp Fried Rice had hard clumps of rice.

Only customers on a Saturday night. One woman doing all the cooking, filling Uber orders and taking phone calls. And she was our waitress.we waited a long time to be served because apparently take out orders come first. All our food was cold. No sauce on my cashew chicken. NONE. A baby dish of rice that wouldn’t be enough for half of the entree. When I mentioned my food was cold she just shrugged. Only other employee sitting outside off/on smoking. Sticky table and dirty silverware. No knives- just a fork. Both the tea and egg rolls were priced higher than the menu price. When our leftovers were boxed no bag was provided to carry them out to the car. And- GASP- no fortune cookies. We will not be back. Wasn’t terrible- just not good. 2 out of 5.

The Squirrelfish & Stirfry Green Beans from the authentic Szechuan side of the menu are my favorite items, 10/10 would order again and I highly recommend

We typically get My Kitchen to go, but chose to eat in this week. The food is amazing! The dry pots are full of variety and flavor. The tweens loved the “slurpy noodles”. There was no specific “kids menu” that we saw, but the meals are big enough to split.
Lunch special comes with soup and a spring roll

Can’t say enuf about this place— best, most authentic Szechuan & milder Chinese food I’ve found in W. MI from a guy who loves his trips to Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan for their complex, life-changing flavors. You go here for the food as it is an understated, functional dining room space that works, just don’t expect fancy. Nice service, friendly people, but the food is OMG. I personally go crazy for the sesame chicken, crispy fried squid w hot pepper, double cooked pork (like thin sliced pork belly with Asian cabbage. Soooo good. Get in here if you haven’t yet. They do take out too, but i prefer dining in as the food is just SO GOOD hot & crispy right out of the kitchen! Happy New Year!

I got mapo tofu for takeout here since it’s one of my favorite Chinese dishes. This wasn’t as spicy as some renditions I’ve had before, but it tasted fairly authentic and still had some heat. The food quality struck me as being good, and it’s cool to find some decent Szechuan food in GR. The place itself is pretty spartan, but people were trickling in. It’s a pretty nondescript place in a strip mall on Eastern, so you wouldn’t really expect Chinese food of this type there, but they don’t disappoint. Give them a try if you’re into Szechuan cuisine.
