We came here after a long day of visiting tourist sites in San Francisco. We happened across this. unassuming Thai restaurant located in a nice little area of San Francisco. This restaurant is extremely good, and we are super happy we went. The food is simply amazing. It has a very cozy atmosphere. They also make cocktails and have beer to serve as well. The food here is also very reasonably priced. I think most dishes were about $17, which is great and a huge selling point because most places in San Francisco cost much more than that.

The food is excellent. They offer your standard selection of Thai dishes. If you haven’t tried pad Thai, this is definitely the place to try it. I ended up getting a fried chicken plate with a side of rice and Thai chili sauce and it was amazing. They have a selection for everyone here, you won’t be disappointed.

The drinks here were really good too. I ordered the Mojito, and it was actually excellent. They have a few selections of beer such as Sapporo. They also have other Thai drinks if you’re looking for something nonalcoholic.

Parking wasn’t that bad either. There is enough side streets with non-paid parking that you should be able to find something and you don’t even have to pay for it which is great. Just watch out for street sweeping in any restrictions. The neighborhood was generally safe,

If you’re looking for great food, great service, a friendly vibe, and a safe place to come with your family to eat after a long day of traveling-this is a great place to stop!

Solid thai food. I had the panang curry, which was decent. Not as creamy as I expected, but the flavours were on point. Rice is not included with the curry, so it ended up being over $20 with a side of rice. The other dishes seemed appetizing as well, so I’d return to try others like the ivy friend

When you write “Spicy” on your menu, people expect spicy. This Tom Yum dish had Thai Sweet Chili sauce in it making it very sweet and not “Spicy and Sour”. I like the traditional Thai Tom Yum soup but someone ruined this one. Same goes for the Mango salad. Not spicy and over ripped Mango? Ivy Linguine chicken was thin and dry. Only thing that was decent was the dessert but will not order it again.

The food was surprisingly delicious and they accommodated my food sensitivities nicely. I had the spring roles and the glass noodles with chicken and veggies – really enjoyed it and will be back.
The service was wonderful and friendly.

We ordered crispy tofu salad as the starting course of the meal. See photo. It is unusually tangy-spicy and fresh with decorative sliced onion, diced cherry tomatoes, crispy tofu squares, cilantro, and iceberg lettuce. Next, came our pineapple fried rice with shrimps and tofu-vegetable with ginger and mushroom sauce.

They opened at 5 pm and we were first arrival and the service was fast and courteous. If your version of Thai food is ungainly conservative, this place will reinvent your taste bud of New Thai cuisine. Enjoy and love food all your days!

My Ivy is pretty good. The food tasted good and it wasn’t too greasy. I wish they had more vegetables in their noodle dishes and I wish they had more vegan options.

Great service and yummy food. (Pleasant atmosphere for $13 mains!) The Tom Kha has a nice lime forward flavor.

Food was really good. Empty inside but don’t be afraid they do lots of to go orders.

I ordered take-out but can say the atmosphere was cozy and lovely. Smells amazing! I ordered tom yum with shrimp, medium spicy and it was at my limit, so be sure you like it spicy when you say medium. The flavor was excellent. I wish they would have use ANY mushroom aside from button, that made it feel much less authentic, it should be straw, but even shiitake or oyster which aren’t hard to find in SF! It almost ruined it for me, but that sweet, sour, spicy soup base was fantastic, so I forgave 🙂
