This place was pleasantly tasty. I got the pancake sandwich which actually was not a sandwich at all. I was a little upset bc in tjat case they should chsnge the name, BUT it a great portion. The pancakes were a lot bigger than expected and the potatoes and gravy was so good, my mom ate practically the whole bowl! The service was good. I loved the wall decor . We had a good convo with a sweet local next to us and she gave us a coupon . Would definitely go back a second time

I’m visiting Turlock from Australia where we don’t have Chicken Fried Steak & Country Gravy so I’ve been trying all the local diners and My Garden Cafe has the best that I’ve found!! The Hotcakes were also really delicious. Would have rated 5 stars but my partner’s Philly cheese steak had really tough & chewy steak so he had to remove the meat from the sandwich. He said the onion rings were pretty good though.

I found another great breakfast place in Turlock. I had The Corned Beef Hash plate with country potatoes, scrambled eggs, and a biscuit with gravy. Very tasty!!!! I loved the corned beef hash. For my beverage, I had black coffee, a large orange juice, and ice water. My only gripe is that the large orange juice is rather small. Other than that, the portions are large. The service here is very good.

This place was horrible. It took forever just for someone to even come take our order, and when they finally did, the server had the worst attitude ever. Literally acted like we were bothering them for asking basic questions about the menu. Zero customer service skills, zero friendliness. The food came out cold, tasted gross, and honestly wasn’t worth even half the price. Don’t waste your time or money there are way better brunch spots like TACO BELL that actually care about their customers.

The food is always fresh and tasty here, and they have a good variety of items for both breakfast and lunch. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. They treat us like family! Our waitress even remembered our new grandson from months ago and wondered where he was and how’s he doing. Very nice! We usually like to go here on Sunday after church. The portions are decent for the price, as we usually have some leftovers. I love reading all the humorous signs hanging on the walls around the inside of the eating areas. My only minor complaint is the choice of music and the volume seemed a tad high. But in all fairness, it’s probably just a matter of individual or personal preference. AND… I hope that they eventually decide to switch to Coca-Cola products instad of that Pepsi stuff. – I will definitely be coming back to enjoy this cozy and down-home restaurant again!.

They have an excellent selection of foods, and the quality of the food was great. The interior is a little dated but clean. The woman that seated us was very friendly and kind and that’s where the good service ended. Our server was very rude and never came back to check on us. There was a table next to us and she knocked over all their creamer and never picked it up and there was creamer all over the floor. When the next customers came to sit there, their server was apologizing and cleaned it up. When we got our check and ready to leave , she asked the one male in our group, “Did you want some more water, hon?”When she came back, we all put our glasses or cups on the edge of the table for her to fill them, and she only grabbed his and went behind the counter, filled it and came back and then left. For whatever reason she got irritated when we asked questions about menu items and even rolled her eyes. It’s possible she was having a bad day, but that shouldn’t be a concern of your customers. When we were leaving, we asked the young woman that sat as if there were other locations. She stated that there are and gave us the addresses of the other locations. We will definitely patronize one of those.

First time in this shop, first thing I notice is their little seating area and all the yummy treats along the wall. Very nicely presented.

The Raspberry and the Apricot folder overs are flakey and delightful. I’m not one for rose flavor, however I thought I’d try it. The Rose Mousse Eclair is light and mousse is light. Again I’m not one for rose flavors, but this was good.

First visit here to the My Garden Cafe and guess what was on the menu for the Southern tastebuds … fried okra! What a treat and dipped in ranch, even better. Ok, back to the occasion, the breakfast here did not disappoint. Everything tastes fresh, light fluffy omelettes seem to have layers … a breakfast essential if you treat yourself and stop here!
