Not so quiet but a great mom and pop breakfast joint. I LOVE THEIR HEALTHY breakfast sandwich. Close to the beach. Staff is great.

I just wouldn’t recommend this place anymore, especially when it’s a busy holiday. Waiting 45 mins for a couple of subpar breakfast burritos just isn’t worth it. I used to like supporting this small place, but when you hear audible complaints over your order by the kitchen, it feels like you’re a burden, who want to eat food from a place like that? I think you’re better off waiting at one of the other several bakeries in the area. It just didn’t feel as welcoming as in past visits.

We stopped here randomly for dirty chai lattes and a lox bagel and everything was sooooooo good! If you’re looking for a quick coffee stop that’s not a chain on Balboa, this is it.

Disappointing. Seemed it would be amazing but perhaps we caught it near closing time.

We ordered a Mediterranean Tuna Sandwich. It was bread, pretty good bread, with the tiniest amount of tuna salad. No onion, tomato or red onion to dress it up.

I suspect the tub of tuna was running low and they scraped the sides of the bin to make this sandwich.

It gets 3 stars due to locations, staff, and the hope of a better 2nd visit!

Quality breakfast foods to fit your breakfast moods. Solid offerings from bagels, egg sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Also features a full coffee bar. Nice little informal beach stand buried midway down the peninsula.

Granted all I got was a latte. Coffee is absolute garbage. Quite literally the worst coffee I’ve ever had. It tasted old and burnt. The latte I wanted was extra watery and the sugar free vanilla was nonexistent. The atmosphere was cute, I loved all the seating options and the service was nice, but I will not ever come back.
