This place really deserves a little more love. They do a great job. Very friendly staff. The food is good and isn’t expensive. It also doesn’t feel like it’s just thrown in the microwave like the place across the parking lot does with their breakfasts. Sadly that place probably gets more customers. But for sure give this place a shot. They care and do a great job with what they got going.

This place is an absolute local treasure. They are the only bagel shop that I’ve found in the Portland Metro area that serves an egg bagel (my favorite type), the quality of their bagels is excellent, their coffee is fantastic, and the staff are so nice. During the fall, they have an amazing pumpkin spice muffin that I look forward to all year. I stop by here every 2-3 weeks. My only note is that the interior is somewhat dimly lit, like more ceiling lights could be turned on. But that is a very small note compared to just how much I love this place.

When a customer asked why they were burning down their store cause of burning smell when she walked in, an employee responded “just burning a bagel”. Turns out that burning bagel was mine and she just covered in cream cheese and sent me out the door. A waste of $7 and no breakfast cause nobody cared about their job today.

Apparently they have been open since ’97 and I’m just now trying them. I can see why they have been in business for so long. Food was good. Service was phenomenal. I do feel like $5 for a muffin is kinda steep. I would get a breakfast sandwich again though. Definitely give this place a try. I love supporting small businesses.

Whenever I need a sweet snack I come for the muffins, the bagles are my favorite weekend food, and the sandwiches they make are filling and flavorful. I started to give it only 4 stars since they used to be closed on Sundays, but they have added Sunday hours, which boosted them to 5 stars! Lines can be long during peak hours so just be prepared.

Service was quick. Staff were friendly. Food was piping hot when I got it. Place was really clean and low-key. The interior could use some brighter and warmer interior lighting – it honestly looked closed when I rolled up to the place. Otherwise, seems like a decent mom and pop shop.

I went here for the first time today, and asked if they are able to accommodate a vegan diet. The guy at the counter was super helpful and let me know what choices they had and what was and wasn’t vegan. I had a great experience and the sandwich was amazing. I will definitely be getting lunch here again!

It was my first time visiting this place. I always passed by and this morning I finally stopped by to try the bagel.
I first ordered 1 premium bagel with cream cheese on the side. And while I was waiting I saw the sign, there is mini deal which you can choose 6 bagels and 1/2lb tub cream cheese for $14. So I asked the server if I can change to that by adding 5more bagels. The server said it’s too late to change because she already packed small side cream cheese. So I said, I’ll just pay for what she already packed as extra.
I thought.. small tub of cream cheese…it’ll only cost $1.25-$2 tops!
I ended up paying $3 for the small pack of cream cheese!! Wow!! (Posted picture of the size of cream cheese I got)
I ended up paying $20 for ($14(mini deal)+$3(2premium bagels charge)+$3(tiny pack of cream cheese)=$20)
Anyway… no matter how good the bagels are…
it was not a good first experience visiting the place. Feels like I got ripped off.
