Excellent food from a simple menu, shared with kind, understated service that makes you feel welcome. Fresh, light pho ga with carefully pulled chicken, and creamy peanut sauce with the fresh spring rolls. Nothing overdone, everything just right. Brought us back to Vietnam but minus the traffic and cigarettes. Reasonably priced, value.

I felt so homey eating here. Prompt, kind service with fresh delicious offerings. I had crispy imperial rolls and combination pho with a Vietnamese pour-over. I can’t wait to come back!

FIVE STARS all the way for this locally owned family restaurant. They use free range organic Mary’s chicken and fresh ingredients. What more could you ask for? This SF Gem is well worth the visit! Support Local!

Savory Vietnamese dishes, with clean finishes.

#6 Pho Bo Dac Biet – Beef Rice Noodle Soup Special while good, lacked the spiced fragrance common in pho broth. Noticeably missing were the beansprouts, Thai basil and cilantro.

#3 Cha Gio – Crispy Imperial Rolls, the tasty standard, complete with lettuce, cilantro, carrot and daikon for wrapping before dipping.

A nice lunchtime option on a stretch of Divisadero where there are so few Asian options. But flavors authentic may be better served in the Tenderloin.

While I agree with other reviews that mention the lack of bean sprouts and basil, I disagree that it needs those to be a good pho. The portion was very substantial and any restaurant meal under $20 after tips of this quality is rare to see in the city.

the crispy crab and chicken were delicious and fresh and tasted light and healthy. Loved the drip coffee and condensed milk for the sweetness

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have higher ratings. Easily my favorite Chicken Pho in the city. And I’ve tried most!

The chicken is free-range and the soup is not too salty, oily, or greasy. Lots of scallions and everything is so clean tasting.

They separate the noodles, chicken and veggies in a separate plastic soup container than the broth so everything is well-sealed and easy to manage, with no spillage.

Love this place!

My favorite northern style pho place in SF. My friend told me about this place about 10 years ado and I’ve been coming here whenever I can . Their beef pho broth has clean and deep taste unlike from others where you taste MSG . Love coming here also because the service is great .

My Father’s kitchen is the best phở Hanoi I had for a while. Their phở bò gà is authentic in broth flavor, delicate flat noodles (not those common dry ones), and chicken texture Definitely a new contender in San Francisco. Ended having 2 bowls in a row because it is soo good.
