Stopped for a pasty lunch special and found an excellent beef pasty with a hearty gravy. The crust was flaky and light, the filling had nice big bite-size pieces of meat and veggies — and that hard rolled edge is supposed to be there, dip it in the gravy! Tasted just like they do at home in the UP, I was thrilled to find them and will be back. Mouth, stomach, heart and wallet are all happy Thanks!

Friendly service the staff is very accommodating. The Beef Pasty is phenomenal. The crust is delicious and filling is plentiful. You can get frozen ones to take home to your freezer. There is a bench to sit on if you really want to eat inside but the set up is more for a to go order.

Big thumbs up from this displaced Yooper from Ontonagon County, these pasties remind me of home. Ketchup on top for me, nobody uses gravy where I come from, but each their own. Highly recommend you try them!!

My son was in MI a couple of weeks ago. I asked him to bring me back some pasties (I live in TN). He had brought me some once before and so he went back to that pace but it was out of business. So I guess he googled and found this place. Well…he got a baker’s dozen and brought them back. I might have one left in the freezer. They are delicious!!! I lived in Garden City for 33 years and there used to be a place, Northwood’s Pasties, not far from me in Westland. Would buy from them occasionally and they were good too. My daughter is coming down in a week or so and I do believe she is going to have to bring me some more! Tennessee has some great catfish places but not a pastie to be found. I got the beef and really, really love them.

Ok. The beef pasty you see in the picture I attached was SO FREAKIN GOOD! The beef was not overcooked and was very flavorful, the veggies and potatoes complimented the beef perfectly, and that pasty crust was so flaky, buttery, and delicious – I mean it was beautiful! Maybe buying them hot & ready on a chilly day helped, but oh my gosh! The best! Highly recommended! P.S. the coleslaw was creamy and yummy too!

The absolute best tasting Pasty! Lots of meat and full of of flavor. NOT a slab of heavy pastry with little filling or little meat and extra potatoes. These are just the correct ratio of filling. Excellent!!!!!!!!!

Pastys were pretty good but over-priced at $9.00 each for a beef pasty. Also it was extremely hot in ther. The coleslaw is amazing!

Grabbed the lunch combo today: beef pasty, can of pop and cole slaw (you can get chips or gravy instead). Delicious and ready fast! Flavored perfectly, crunchy crust. I need to go here more often and so do you. The decor is all Copper Mining which is perfect.

Nothing spectacular about these pasties. Not bad just ordinary with no taste and as if with everything else today half the size they used to be.
