Came here once and this is the only place I will go too! Fresh food, employees who provide awesome customer service even in a rush which I’ve come when it’s busy and when there’s a dinner rush. You won’t regret this place!!!

We were greeted upon entering. We got there at just the right time as the food was made fresh on the spot with many people walking in right after us. This was our third time eating here and have not been disappointed. The food tastes great and the eating area is clean. We used to go to another place in San Jacinto that also had locations in Hemet but My City Chinese Food definitely has them beat.

Let me start out by saying that I’d really like to support small businesses but in this situation I just cannot the staff in general is great it’s the food that misses the mark by leaps and bounds. Maybe you want to go with the chicken breast they can cut up and the rice noodles instead of the options we choose. Orange chicken can barely be called chicken as there is no chicken it’s just crunchy pieces of breading with sauce on it that is kinda hard and overcooked. The pork is very fatty and partially inedible. Rice was very dry and the Chow Mein was serviceable. We also had the broccoli beef but the beef was fatty as well. The portion sizes are not really that big as others might have mentioned there is better fast food Chinese within a mile and a half of this location if that although not great tasting larger portions are at Mr U’s; they at least make it look plentiful by over stuffing with rice/chow mein. If you scan the qr code with your yelp review you can get a free drink but it’s still it’s just not worth it. It’s a bit warm inside the restaurant which is not any negative necessarily about this review it’s all about the food and sadly I will not be returning I really wish it was better and or very much larger portions than any other Chinese food place in the area but it is not. I wish I could have enjoyed one other people have said in these reviews but neither one of us at our table had a deep good experience and we both threw some of our food away because it just wasn’t edible. We went with the combo A and B I would really like if this spot upped their game so i could return but for now; it’s a No for me.

This has to be the most disgusting thing I’ve ever been served at a restaurant in my entire life the most disgusting and foul Chinese food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m really not exaggerating or even trying to be a Karen the fried rice with inedible I spit it back out. The chow mein tasted like cardboard. I ordered two chicken entrées. I got five pieces of chicken and a bunch of slime all over the vegetables and everything else and like half of an onion. I ordered six cream cheese wontons I got hard as rock congealed nasty pieces of rocks. I’ll be lucky if I don’t get sick from this later seriously truly foul and disgusting.

This is a very nice, new home in the wall Chinese restaurant. But not only do they have Chinese food but slushy and smoothie drinks as well! Total bonus! I had the kung pao chicken and the broccoli beef and each was very good and fresh. I had a strawberry smoothie and it was perfect for the hot day. I highly encourage you to come check them out, they are so nice!

Wowww!! Everybody…..Do not Wok…Run down to My City Chinese food.
This is my new favorite spot. The Food is delicious. Huge portions and to me great quality, everything has been super fresh.
Sooo thankful to have another option other than that not so tasty and terrible tiny portions no value corporate Panda.
The portions here are proper and it’s great because the quality is excellent.
Orange Chicken, mushroom chicken, broccoli beef, pepper chicken. Chow mein, fried rice…honestly it’s all been killer. Zero complaints, fantastic crispy coating on the big chunky pieces of Orange chicken. The Sweet N Sour is yum. The sign of a Great spot ….Leftovers, and it’s delicious. See pics of me Pan Frying my lunch the next day.
Really ….you Have to help blow this spot up so they stay in business. You can feed the whole family on the cheap and it’s good. I’ve been going at 11:45 and around 5:30 and quality has been spot on.

My City Chinese restaurant serves up hot and tasty food that is sweet and sour, spicy, savory, and fresh. All your traditional dishes are served with lots of smiles and extra helpings! You will not go hungry here. A must try is their fruit smoothies. I personally love the Mango! Prices for the food are very affordable. Special drinks cost more here. Overall, My City Chinese is a great place for a quick and filling meal that is easy on the pocket.

Other orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and spicy. It was all bread. Hardly any meat in the middle week. I’m not paying for bread. Nothing but oil and $14 Panda Express is way better and fresh. Don’t know where it got four stars. Never be back

We have been here previously and the food has been ok. Nothing terrible but nothing memorable. We were on the way home and passing by and decided to get Chinese food. The experience from the get go was awful. Empty restaurant, 4 or 5 workers. Some of the food looked like it had been sitting for a while. We should have just walked out but we were starving and just wanted to get something. It was clear that someone was being trained by an employee and the issues we had were not with the trainee. The portion size was ridiculously skimpy. The orange chicken is more breading than chicken. The chow mein was super greasy. We got Thai teas and the boba was old and the Thai tea was so watered down we took a sip and decided not to drink them because they tasted like crap. The icing on the cake was when checking out I asked for hot mustard and extra sauce and the employee training the trainee loudly said only one sauce packet per tray, and they forgot my hot mustard. $46 and most of it went in the trash. Save your money and go get good Chinese food from anywhere else.
