Our first time here and it we had a great experience at Mutant Brewing. Amanda was incredible. She knew the menu and recommended great drinks and food. We had the smash burger, hot honey pepperoni pizza and garlic parm wings. Worth going.

We tried this place on a whim and we will definitely be back! It’s hard to find a place that has a good sour and this place has multiple! And that classic smashburger, don’t even get me started on the bacon jam… haven’t had that good of a burger in a long time! I ate it before I remembered to take a picture of it. If they have the pretzel sticks with cinnamon, you gotta get them and the cheese curds, and the chorizo queso. Okay just try it all! Cool atmosphere and the staff were pretty nice and attentive, highly recommend checking it out, plus there’s a parking garage right next door

Cool little brewery in Scranton. They have a nice selection of beer. They also had a great food menu. We tried the bones wings and they weee awesome. They were actual chicken not the store bought frozen stuff some chains try to serve you. Great job on them!!! Must try if you stop by there.

Had a flight of all their sour beers, my favorite was the blueberry, and enjoyed the street style tacos with the turkey ends. It was a very melo vibe for a Friday after 5pm, which was great as we had our teenage daughter with us. Which she give them a 10 out of 10 on their Mac and Cheese and requested bacon to be added. This was our second visit and I’m certain we will be back again soon.

OK let me just say that the food here is NOT your typical “bar” food. The smashburger is seriously one of the best I have ever eaten. Of course we had to get the fried pickles as an app and they were really good too. The prices are surprisingly affordable for a downtown eatery and the beer flights were a fun way to find our favorite. Staff was super friendly. Also…yeah…what IS an NFT lol. Great place, we will be back.

2nd time. Won’t be last. My wife now works at the U. Downtown Scranton offers so much in food, vibes, and brews. I love their 4 packs for $13. Case for 60. Known for its great sours. But I had a serum IPA on this afternoon. Have not tried the food, but people were getting takeout.

Cherry is my favorite.
He prefers Raspberry.
Strawberry and Blueberry are also tasty.
The lunch specials were amazing. We even ordered take out for dinner before we left. Caity and Lexi didn’t miss a beat with all of our drink and food requests. We also got 2 four packs to go for the weekend. We will be back soon!

In Scranton for the 1st time, for a short day trip, we stumbled across mutant brewing and so glad we did. The food was excellent!! We had the nachos with chipotle brisket, pepperoni stuffed pretzels, smash burger, wings, and Detroit style pizza…. all were sooo good! My sister had a peach beer that she liked so much she bought some to take home. The service was friendly, professional, and attentive. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.
