My husband and I visited Musume Dallas to celebrate his birthday and had the best time! The food was absolutely amazing, we loved the phases of plates that were brought out throughout the evening; it made the whole experience feel special and perfectly paced. The presentations were completely over the top in the best way.
Cynthia was fantastic, so knowledgeable and full of great recommendations. We trusted her suggestions and ended up indulging in everything she recommended… it did not disappoint. From start to finish, it was a memorable dining experience. We can’t wait to come back!

my boyfriend and i went here to celebrate our valentine’s day. we have heard great things about this place so our expectations were high. as soon as we put the first item into our mouth, we were blown. away. everything we had was absolutely AMAZING. we work at an asian concept and we loveeee eating sushi, it’s our favorite cuisine. we have never tasted such amazing quality. we had the toro sashimi topped with caviar and gold. that was our #1 favorite. our #2 favorite dish was definitely the seafood dumplings. i wasn’t thinking they were going to be great but i can’t even describe to you how good they were. we enjoyed salmon nigiri, crag leg nigiri, salmon nigiri with chili crisp and a roll that had hamachi belly, salmon belly, toro and gold. everything was amazing. we also got the short rib wontons which were good, not great but the food is exceptional. i’m such a big foodie, i get so happy when i find a place that blows my mind and this place has done just that. i can’t wait to try their location in Frisco!

The bar is exceptional, with a great selection and expertly crafted cocktails that elevate the entire experience.
Located right in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, this is truly a must-experience spot. Whether you’re out for a special evening or just great Japanese cuisine, you will not be disappointed.

This was my first time eating at musume and we had a large group for a birthday party who had ate their years before and loved it! The presentation of the food was stellar, and our server was really good and patient with us. He was also very knowledgeable and helped us decide on specialty cocktails, wine, and food. I attached a few pictures here and the best thing that he recommended was the short rib dumplings that were absolutely to die for and the presentation was amazing. I did order some seafood dim sum that unfortunately took a lot longer than everyone else’s meals and when I went to tell him, I didn’t want them anymore. He said they were coming out and that he would comp them, overall I really enjoyed our dinner experience and can’t wait to bring my husband back.

The food is fantastic. While it’s not true authentic Japanese sushi, such as butter lobster sushi rolls and having cream cheese & avocado in several offerings, it is very delicious! The omakase is a great value considering the quantity and quality of the fish. The rolls are fantastic overall – our table ordered several and most of them were superb. The appetizers – the enoki mushrooms, salad, wontons, and buns – were great and I highly recommend. Great sake selection and our server was very knowledgeable. Will definitely return.

Absolutely loved this place! Excellent food, attentive and knowledgeable service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Staff was very accommodating to my food allergies. I had the superfly vegan and the wrath sushi rolls – both were packed with flavor. Really loved the smoked soy sauce and the surprise treat at the end of my meal. Highly recommend this food experience!

It was cooked medium-rare and it was still chewy. Flavor was okay even though it was black garlic soy butter. Honestly it reminded me of Walmart steak…will not order again.
Hidden Japanese Speakeasy (Akai) inside the Musume restaurant.
Speakeasy had great service from the male bartender. DJ was decent.

Ate at Musume this evening. The owner Kalil gave us a tour of the amazing decor and curated an exceptional tasting menu for myself and 5 of my colleagues. London our server also gave us excellent service. The fish was amazing and super fresh and as good as anywhere I have eaten across the country. Also loved the unique cheesecake dessert with mango sorbet. A memorable dining experience for sure!

Sushi was really good, salmon super tender. We ordered 6 dishes, and the restaurant gave us 4 more for free. But the stir-fries and fried rice were just okay—rice was clumpy, not separated, like it wasn’t fried right.
But the place was nice, good for business meetups or dates. Lots of people celebrating birthdays there. Service was great too—first time, so the waiter explained everything in detail and recommended his faves.

We came on a lunch break for the second time. The food had been good before, and the decor was beautiful. This time however had its challenges: We both ordered the Bento Boxes. The restaurant had only a few people in it so it wasn’t busy. The Miso soup came out barely warm, so much that we had to send it back to be reheated. C’mon! Then one of my people asked to substitute a cup of Thai coconut soup instead of the Miso soup. They were informed that that would be an $8 up-charge. Really? Tacky Tacky TACKY! We turned this down out of Principle! The chicken portion was tasty but dry, and the beef portion was medium rare but Tough, as I saw that someone else had mentioned that as well.I am a retired chef. They could do better. The service was good though.
