Super good musubi with an awesome selection. I chose one with rice, spam, eel, tamago, and avocado, and it was perfectly assembled. Every bite was balanced, flavorful, and very satisfying. You can really taste the care and attention put into each piece.
Service:
Service was great. It was just one Japanese lady working, and she was very kind and welcoming. Even while handling everything herself, she was efficient and pleasant, which made the experience feel very personal.
Ambiance:
Small, casual, and full of character. It feels like a true local spot and makes for a fun, quick stop while walking around Waikiki.

Stopped by Musubi & Bento IYASUME for a quick bite before a tour we had booked where the pick up was in front of the hotel across the street. I have been eager to try some Musubi and Onigiri for some time. It was the perfect thing to have that wasn’t heavy and it was delicious. It’s a small shop but has a great selection!

Super small spot (just take-out), but their musubi is top notch! The woman who runs this place is very kind and friendly. Went towards the end of closing time, and she gave us some freebies! Their avocado tempura musubi was was favorite and their eel avocado musubi was another hit for us! Good for a quick bite and friendly service!

Tiny hole in the wall place ( it’s a huge jump to call it a restaurant) with a huge and delicious assortment of musumi and few bento choices. So why do I rate this place 5 stars? It’s the essence of a local proprietor trying to make a living by offering fantastic value with no fake airs, no phony touches to what’s served, and no fake extra charges. In fact, when she saw that I was interested in 2 bento lunches, she offered substantial discount for buying 2 when I was more then willing to pay regular price of just $8. There probably is NO other place in Waikiki that offers bento this cheap. Yes, there’s really nothing exceptional about them EXCEPT it shows the owner’s effort in making sure to offer good value. We eat lunch in Waikiki every Wednesday and we have seen every other establishment raise prices (some to ridiculous levels) while cutting quality and quantity. Support HONEST establishments like this, not the greedy ones (especially the national chain ones).

My partner and I stumbled upon this across from our hotel – what a find!! He loveeessss musubi so stumbling upon this made the trip. 100% worth the wait (when there is one) and highly recommend the black peppered spam musubi and the regular spam. I also had a kelp one, everything was so fresh and very tasty.

The best musubi. There were so many options of fresh, delicious musubi. We barely made it halfway down the street and had to go back because my family ate ours so fast! We knew we needed to get extras because they were THAT GOOD.

I stopped here for breakfast next to my hotel. The lady was very friendly and helpful. The Musubi is very delicious and they also have spam labeled merchandise. They have several different kinds and also other meals available and cold drinks. Its all very delicious.

Delicious as always. Well priced and they have a punch card so be sure to grab one if you have a large family! Quick and friendly service. Line started forming before their open time at 8am.
