Stopped in on a Sunday night around 7 PM and then although there was visibly four or five tables available, I told us we had to wait approximately 20 minutes for a table. Didn’t really make sense to me. We ended up getting an outside seat because the entertainment was so loud. I couldn’t hear myself let alone the person I went to have dinner with. I ended up just ordering a Mustang cheeseburger and fries, which were very very good. I’ll have to go back and give it a shot again in a week or so to see if things improve to my liking. I know it’s not a lot of choices in the area and I know it’s hard to get good staff these days.

We shall see.

Steak was done perfect as medium & so tasty! Buffalo wings and onion rings were great! Unfortunately loaded potatoe was undercooked as well as carrots you could hardly stab with fork. Service was attentive & very friendly.

I’m very glad that we found this place. Great atmosphere and service. We will definitely be back. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was the real deal. Not shredded, but large chunks of tender BBQ pork. a great out of the way destination in Parks, AZ.

Recommend for sure. Was headed back from Flagstaff on 8/25, and figured I would grab lunch since this place has good reviews + there was stop for gas. Nice staff. Mustang burger was great. Onion rings were good and crispy. No complaints. Would definitely stop in again if passing through.

The brisket was extremely dry almost as if it was boiled. The pulled pork was very greasy and dry. We replaced the brisket with pulled pork and it came out looking completely different. Both meats next to each other in the photo are pulled pork

The food was good. Gave it 4 stars because the butter, sour cream, and sides of BBQ sauce were served cold. Service because we were served food without utensils. The drink (Mai Tai) was good and the meat was really good! Love the wraparound porch and home town feel.

We went to dinner here on a Sunday night. We ate on the patio because it was nice out and the music inside was very loud. The outside patio is a nice atmosphere so that was preferred anyway. Unfortunately the food was quite mediocre. We ordered a patty melt, a Mac n cheese, and the chicken caprese. The food came out kind of warm but definitely not hot. The baked potato that came with the chicken was almost not edible. It was dry and had absolutely no toppings. We asked for something to put on it, but that took quite a while because our waitress didn’t come out to check on us until we were almost done with our food. It seemed like since we were on the patio we were forgotten about.

I may give this restaurant another chance because it’s the only one in the area. It’s nice to have a local restaurant to go to. I’m sure it’s kind of hard to find staffing in this area. The man who greeted us was friendly and knowledgeable but once the waitress took over, it was downhill from there. It especially sucks to get poor service when the restaurant only has a few tables. The food itself was not worth the price… I’ll just go with a burger next time.

I’m so happy this restaurant has reopened. I’ve been there twice and I’ve had a blast each time. Second time there was a live band and a whole bunch of us lol. I hope we weren’t imposing on anybody but we pretty much owned the back patio that night. The food is great… that I’ve had so far, and the staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. My family and I always have a good time at this restaurant and I highly recommend it. I wish you much success…

The elote appetizer has NO flavor, and definitely no Cilantro. We ordered the brisket plates, four tiny pieces of dried out jerky (see pics), the “loaded” potatoes only have some cheese thrown on top, they are not loaded with anything. Been planning to go to this restaurant for months, will never go back. Very, very disappointed.

Got terrible food Poisoning from this place. I got the bbq plate. They served the worst ribs I ever had. Dry not even edible. The brisket was not much better. The sides were okay steamed veggies and mashed potatoes. The half rack of ribs went in the trash it was so try and probably 2-3 days old. Before the night was over me and my wife were both having stomach pains and today food poisoning symptoms.
