Delicious meal today at Muscarella’s! I had the wild mushroom pasta and the server suggested I add the filet tips and it was to die for! Wish this was a regular menu item- but the gnocchi with filet tips is another awesome option. My boyfriend had the Sunday gravy and we were surprised by how spicy the sausage was (probably the only gripe) – I also loved their dipping oil for their bread. Wonderful!! I love “mom & pop” Italian restaurants and Muscarella’s does not disappoint!

Loved eating at this local Italian place in Hermitage! The food was amazing. The hot peppers appetizer was the best! Would definitely come back another time. Also recommend the chicken parm and “Timmy Cutlets”! Service had some opportunity however. Regardless I would go back!

I wanted this visit to be really good since 2 of our close friends recommended it. And Goggle ratings are 4.6 stars. My wife and I stopped around 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon. It was packed which is always a good indication.
We were seated in a wooden booth and served water and put in our drink requests. It took 10 minutes to get my coffee order. With it our server brought us bread and dipping oil – very generous and the highlight of our visit.
At the waitress suggestion my wife ordered chicken Marsala with a side of fettuccine Alfredo. I opted for the chicken carbonara.
My wife said the Marsala sauce tasted like beef gravy. And her fettuccine had a strong flour flavor. They must thicken it with flour. It was really tasteless and thick. She took two bites and passed on it. The server offered to replace it but she declined.
My chicken in the carbonara dish was at most 1/8th inch thick. It was so overcooked I couldn’t cut it with my knife it would just tear. The noodles in my dish were bland and under salted. When making pasta you got one shot to season it and that’s in the pasta water. Swing and a miss.
Regretfully our experience was very underwhelming. Our service was good not great but it was packed and she was super busy.
Can’t say we’ll return.

We had dinner at Muscarella’s Cafe Italia tonight and it was absolutely outstanding from start to finish.
The service, the food, the atmosphere — everything was top notch. You can truly feel the pride and professionalism from the front of the house all the way through the kitchen.
The short rib pappardelle was phenomenal — rich, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The arancini were excellent, crisp on the outside and deliciously creamy inside. And the Flannel Manhattan? Fantastic. One of the better cocktails I’ve had in a long time.
A special shoutout to our server, Tyler — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. He made a great experience even better.
This place absolutely delivers.

OMG, where do I begin?! I had such an amazing time at this restaurant. From the drinks to the appetizers. Everything was amazing. I ordered a beer on tap. Seasonal beer it was amazing. I also only ordered appetizers and everything I had was amazing. The wedding soup was a 10 out of 10. I ordered a Sicilian style pizzawith cup pepperoni, fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, marinara sauce and homemade ranch. I also had bruschetta. Everything was amazing.

My wife and I tried date night dinner here upon recommendation of several of my co-workers, and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious. The server was friendly and helpful. And the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Muscarella’s is always a great place to go. Their food is always perfectly cooked and delicious. I do have my favorites but a lot of the times the specials sound too good not to try them.

I live about 30 minutes from this place and it is so worth the drive. We just discovered Muscarella’s a little over a month ago and have been there 3 times since then. I would recommend following them on Facebook for their specials postings. If you are a Kraynak’s fan, this place is not far from there. They also have reservations for parties of 8 or more and 30 minute call ahead seating for parties less than that.
