Food is cooked fresh and the fish is fresh as well. Definitely got great value for what I paid for. Will definitely eat here again if I stop by Oregon again!

One of the few spots I regularly visit in the Portland metro area. It’s rare to find sushi that’s both high quality and affordable these days, but this place delivers on both. They once mixed up my order — but not only did they give me the incorrect one, they also made the correct version and gave both to me for free. Great service and great value!

We had high expectations for this place after reading the reviews. We went for miso soup, some sushi and the chirashi bowl. The food doesn’t live up to the expectations. Miso soup is a bit salty. Some fish in the chirashi bowl is not very fresh. The sushi rice is just alright. I guess we have been spoiled by our favorite chirashi place in Bellevue WA.

The interior is very simple, with a large picture (or photograph?) of cherry blossoms covering one entire wall on the right side of the entrance, but there are no other paintings or decorations. Although not spacious, it gives a bright and clean impression. We had the Lunch Nigiri (Assorted Sushi Plate) and Chirashi Bowl. The sushi made with rotating ingredients is relatively fresh, but those that don’t appear often were hard and dry. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were friendly, but it’s uncertain whether we’ll come back. However, we might try other items on the menu next time.

The most casual sushi spot in town and I love the quality here over many other sushi spots on the west side. I chatted with the owner and apparently he came from the Bellevue location in Washington! So you know it’s gotta be good. Service is chill. Very clean. Order at the counter and they’ll serve it to your table. Highly recommend the chirashi bowl!

Sushi and miso soup are very flavorful n delicious! They had free tea in a kettle on each table and it was quite soothing. I usually get salmon rolls and seared salmon, those are my go to favorites! The atmosphere is alright. Service is good.

Got here at 8:19 to an “Open” sign with their hours listed until 9 PM. After three rounds of remarks from a very quiet gentleman and one with poor English, I got the impression they might be turning us away. I said “Do you want us to leave?” to which they finally nodded yes. No further explanation or apology was given. The food has been alright in the past.

Ordered the BakeMe roll (pictured) and tried my friend’s Musashi roll. Both were delicious!

Nothing particularly bad about this place. But nothing spectacular either. Fair prices, decent sushi. The bento chicken and beef is super underwhelming on flavor, with a sauce to drown it out. The nigiri was hit or miss. The tuna was pretty dry for example, but the salmon was mega flavorful and fresh. I will say their prepared rolls I ordered the Musashi and Rainbow were quite good! Keep in mind the atmosphere isn’t a place where you’re server but order up front. That can be a pro or a con depending on your needs that day, but the employees were friendly and courteous. Overall not a bad place. Maybe you’ll find some specific things on the menu you like, I’d say it’s worth trying still.

Sushi place that serves great food, friendly staff, free hot tea, clean and easy no fuss ordering. Greeted with a smile and prices are fair. Dining area sufficient space, parking plenty. Recommended for quality sushi.
