I got a chicken fried steak plate and loved every bite. My husband got a blackened catfish plate that was fantastic. The portions could of been a little bigger but overall the food is hard to beat. Prices are a little high but location had alot to do with that. The family that owns and operates it are so sweet and kind. We walked in as a table of 10-12 and they did their best to show us great service. Thank you for a great family dinner.

We love this family as much as the food. They are the sweetest people you’ll meet and serve you like your family. I love the fried shrimp, but the frog legs or steak and shrimp is excellent as well. The fresh made bread will have you asking for more and the service that will bring you back again and again.

Their steak, shrimp, and catfish are cooked to perfection, the homemade slaw is fresh and tangy, that bread is impossible to resist, the hand-battered onion rings are heavenly, and we can’t forget that incredible bread pudding! Every bite is a reason to keep coming back—truly a must-visit!

I have known and respected this family since I was a kid and now I’m 55! They are the real deal and I have celebrated so many special occasions here.
Such as my parents retirement party, high school alum gatherings (see attached), my wedding rehearsal dinner (attached), etc! Can’t say enough about them and the food and service have always been on point. 🙂

The food was amazing. The catfish was hot and crisp. The onion rings light and crispy. The slaw was fresh. The fresh baked bread and bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had, and the tea was perfect. The staff are friendly. They test you like family! The location is out away from town and perfect. I love this place.

The best food, top service and most fun atmosphere you’ll find anywhere in the South. Their crispy farm-raised catfish, light flaky onion rings (the real kind) and bread pudding are absolutely to die for. So are all the other menu items but these three are my favorites. My wife loved their delicious hamburger steak, and we both can’t get enough of their hot buttery homemade bread (some on every table). The family treats you like treasured family, even when they don’t truly know you. They’re super folks, the kind you enjoy visiting time after time.
