My husband and I went on a Saturday night. It was very busy, but we were seated immediately. The hostess told us a waiter would be with us as soon as possible and in the meantime, she took our drink orders. She was very friendly and professional. All the wait staff were moving quickly and responding to customers with a smile. Our waiter, Mike M, stopped by to tell us he had one table to check on and he would be right back with our drink order. He apologized for the wait which, we didn’t think was excessive and returned quickly with drinks and to take our order. Mike was very pleasant and professional and apologized again at the end of our meal for the wait, saying they were a lot busier tonight than they expected to be. Our food was incredible. We ordered the broiled cod and a burger and shared the blackberry cobbler and ice cream. Outstanding quality. The atmosphere was relaxing with lamps on most tables and dimmed lighting. The noise level was amenable to relaxing and enjoying conversation. We will 100% be returning next weekend! Loved everything about it

This place feels like it should smell like cigarettes and have a roulette table in the back. I love it.

It has an older client base (not a bad thing) and therefore tries to be multiple things at the same time. At a glance of the menu it looks very affordable, and especially with the steak and seafood selection. However, a lot of the meat cuts are not very appealing, and the seafood is often battered instead of grilled (you could probably ask for just grilled).

This place is essentially a sports bar with leather booths and steakhouse lighting. The apps and cheaper “staple foods” are good, but the steak is mediocre at best.

I did the surf and turf and the New York strip was 1/3 fat and various colors depending where I was cutting in the meat. The scallops were good, but battered. I would’ve asked for grilled had I known the default procedure was battering. Maybe I’m the odd one out.

For apps my partner and I got the fried mushrooms and shrimp cocktail. Like I said, the apps and cheaper foods are good. (Typical sports bar food). While your typical upscale foods like steak and seafood; quality wise, stay within the price range of those collecting Social Security.

Service was decent. Only down side is we never got our waters topped off. Food comes out quick too. No longer than a 15 minute wait.

No drinks, 2 apps, and 2 entrees (one entree was the $30 surf and turf). I’d say this place is relatively affordable. Our total price was $82 before tip. You could probably take a date here for around $65 before tip.

Overall, this seems like a place you get mozzarella sticks and few beers at and watch a football game rather than get a steak and impress your in-laws at.

I ordered the 12 oz New York Strip, medium rare. Hands down one of the worst steaks I have ever had. I should have known not to order a steak after I asked the waiter how long the steaks are aged, and his answer was “I know we don’t age them here, they are aged however long they are aged before they are sent to us”. That is not the correct answer for a place that has the word Steakhouse in its name. My wife loved the Turkey bacon Gouda pretzel she ordered, and the blackberry cobbler wasn’t bad.

The host was pleasant enough. The waitress was also pleasant enough. She never came back to check on us. Had to grab the reluctant host to get her! Chips were good, queso was warm and salsa needs reimagined. the coke was good but the sprite was flat. The wings with the dry rub were flavorless . And the bbq wings only had flavor from the sauce. The server said it was nothing she could do because the wings were precooked. This being my first experience, I would not recommend.

I feel like Murphy’s @ Flynn’s is like the Indianapolis version of Cheers. An Indianapolis classic with great food and service to match. Where you go after a hard day at work and everyone knows your name. Cold drinks at the bar and some nice desserts to enjoy after a well prepared steak. Hot salad, fried mushrooms with a really good horseradish sauce French onion soup. So good and so glad to see it still around

Spectacular food with amazing service and a nice atmosphere. The French Fries were good. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Ranging from Fried Catfish to Steak. The Onions Ring Tower was delicious. Our server was very good and did all he could do to ensure we had a great dinner.

You have to try the breaded pork tenderloin…it was amazing! We also got the chicken tenders and an order of the stacked onion rings. We didn’t save enough room for the blackberry cobbler .

My wife and I ordered ribeye steak and I have to tell you had more greasy fat in it than the steak! The steak was gray. It didn’t even look like steak the dinner in general was Terrible! Our dinner was expensive, they didn’t even offer us any bread, to go with the meal. We will never be back.!!
