I went here with a large party and the food was great. The cocktail was also very good. I had prime rib with roasted potatoes and green beans. I hadcenough for me to take home for a second meal. The atmosphere is really cozy and there was a fireplace helping keep it cozy. The service was excellent. We met the chef who has worked there for years which makes sure their food is good and consistent. The only thing I was not crazy about was the bread pudding. I think it could have used more cinnamon or a maple sauce. This was my second visit and this place is a diamond in the ruff of a far north area of New Hampshire.
My overall impression is wonderful and go! You won’t be sorry.

Safe to say, the best restaurant meal we have had in Pittsburg. Got two bottles of wine, a filet, order of steak tips (they both come with two sides and soup or salad), and an app. All for a reasonable price. Steaks were cooked the way we asked. Service wasn’t rushed. Atmosphere was cozy. If you want something better than just a burger and a beer, I’d without a doubt stop in.

Good food in a rustic farmhouse setting. The menu has a good selection of steakhouse fare including some vegetarian and vegan options and lighter fare. Food was good with good flavors and the soup of the day was probably the standout item of the night – curried carrot bisque. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size. Service was attentive and friendly. A good place to go for a relaxing dinner with family or friends.

This place is a true diamond in the rough. The chef is top of the line and 100% authentic. I asked to speak with him after my meal and promptly hugged him to show my appreciation. Reservations are required but you can call early (9am) and usually get a seat that same evening.

Finally snagged another seating here and we’re so happy we did. The food is great, spirits are fantastic, and atmosphere is super cozy. Staff is always super friendly and helpful as well.
And I’m just going to come out and say it… I think it’s better than Rainbow Grill.
