A hidden gem in located Evergreen! We stopped here for lunch on our way back into Denver. The food was delicious with unique flavors and fun twists on the classics. Our server, Nancy, was warm, welcoming, and took great care of us. 10/10 recommend

Loved this stop on our way into the mountains! Evergreen is a lovely town. My elk burger was great! Really enjoyed the outdoor patio. It wasn’t too busy on the weekday.

Stopped her for a quick lunch after doing some hiking. It was delicious! The servers were so friendly and helpful. The drink was strong but really good. I also had an elk burger for the first time and it was mind blowing! So good! I will definitely come back. It’s a fairly small place but they do have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be a bit challenging.

Great restaurant right downtown along side a stream. Service was excellent and she gave us several suggestions that we loved! We shared the chicken wings and loved the flavor and crispness of them. Husbands bison Murphy burger was excellent. Shrimp tacos were ok – the salad was flavorless and the shrimp was a bit mushy. But the sauce on them was fabulous.

This grill is amazing for food and views! Small creek out back, wooden rustic interior that lets the sun in perfectly, incredible service from entrance to exit, and food was immaculate.
Our party got the Elk MURPH burger with truffle fries, shrimp tacos, and the Chinese chicken salad – absolutely zero notes! 5 stars for each dish, everyone loved what they had.
Will definitely be coming back here, especially as I host more guests in Evergreen from out of state.

Husband’s burger was good, and my Asian salad was fine (chicken was very cold and weird), but my big issue was the service. It seemed like no one was in charge, and no one knew what was going on. Took 15 to get a high chair, waitress took forever to come take our order, husband’s burger came out and he had finished it by the time we went inside to ask about my salad. No one ever came to check if we needed anything or to see if we enjoyed our food. Would have understood if they were slammed, but it wasn’t busy at all. They really need to get a good manager in there.

We came here on a whim for dinner when we found another local restaurant closed early. We were absolutely enamored by the rustic charm of this restaurant! What a wonderful mountain vibe! The food was incredible, and the service was friendly, attentive, and top notch! Thank you, Emily! We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu items and will hopefully save room for dessert next time.

Absolutely the best meal I had in Colorado, hands down. I highly recommend “the Murphy” Elk Burger and the half roast chicken meal. The sweet potato tots are so good they almost taste like a dessert! Everything was plated beautifully and tasted even better than it looked! Our server was very attentive and the restaurant was very inviting. It was so good I didn’t think to get pictures until it was about gone!

Sharing as a concern on how a phone call was handled on 12/22 at 6pm by Carly. My son and girlfriend ate dinner as I recommended this venue as we have always had a wonderful experience. We live in Morrison and my husband works in Evergreen. They ordered the grilled smoked half chicken. The server was absolutely phenomenal and has been our family’s server on many occasions- the service one Star is not a reflection of her. Upon leaving the venue my son’s girlfriend vomited – they came home and asked me if they should call the restaurant in case this may be bad meat to ensure no one else gets sick. I encouraged him to do so. He is 19 and I’m trying to encourage him to speak up for himself and others.
He called and spoke to Carly who immediately told him that it’s not “possible” they could be sick from the food- that he must have a stomach virus. He reinterred he is only sharing a concern so no one else gets sick and thanked her.
I didn’t feel great about Carly’s response and decided to call to speak to a manager. Carly answered and told me there was no manager there and that no manager would be there to talk to until Wednesday- this is Monday-I repeated what my son had shared and Carly interrupted me and said the same thing- it wasn’t the chicken. I tried to explain that we were only expressing a concern and to let me finish….she hung up on me. I called back and another colleagues answered. She also stated my son must have stomach virus and that it could not be their food.
I hope it’s absolutely not the food- we love this restaurant and have the best intentions. Unfortunately this lack of listening and concern from a steady customer is very saddening for us. He wasn’t asking for a refund. He wasn’t asking for anything but for someone to hear his concern and be empathetic. For a dinner for two that cost $83.00, empathy is a small ask.
