The best French Dip sandwich ever! Everything about this sandwich is great, the meat is tender, flavorful, lean; dip great; but the bread and crispy onions put it over the top. Service and atmosphere never fail. Wish it was closer to home, but definitely worth the 30 miles. Love this place.

Update 5/25: This go around we got the fish tacos and shepard’s pie. Shepard’s Pie was more of a soup and had chunks of beef.

We’ve been here a few times but haven’t left any reviews. I was surprised how packed it was on a mid-day Wednesday! I love the selection of small meals they have. We ended up deciding on the fish & chips and wings. Both were delicious and recommended!

I feel like this should be a staple staple joint in Chandler Arizona. I’m not usually one for a weird drink or cocktail however they have a peanut butter shot. That’s like a frozen chocolate shot martini and it’s pretty good. The atmosphere is cool with lots of dollar bills andIDs and stuff and pictures in the wall. The staff is very friendly.

Blake was my bar tender and man ! Super friendly dude and very generous. Told him we are new to Downtown Chandler and just the area in general.. Blake was so kind to give my wife and I free shots of their Peanut butter shot that tasted legit like a frosty from Wendy’s lol. Definitely will be coming back due to Blake showing his kindness to us and welcoming us to the bar.. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE !!

This establishment has some of the best wings, I have ever had. Their pretzels are amazing as well. The only thing id if you get cold be sure yo sit in the back where the doors are open or sit under a heater. It gets very chilly inside by the doors.

Murphy’s law is a really nice place to get some good music and great food. Also have a great selection of beer. This place is a go to for sure to enjoy good music and have some drinks and hang out with good people.

Disappointed! Their French Dip was excellent. Onion rings were pathetic. Potato salad pretty tasteless. The shepherds pie left a lot to be desired! The bread crust was tough and way too much cheese. Other than that it was just OK! Way too loud for conversation. Service was pretty slow and not very fiendly. I don’t think we’ll be going for a return visit

Unfortunately my party of 5 found it to be a bad experience due to understaffing or overcrowding on a Tuesday evening at 5:09.
We arrived and found a table inside that could accommodate 5 of us but the table was not cleared. No one acknowledged us standing the table (it was seat yourself) until 5:20pm. But the acknowledgement was only that “someone will be over soon”.
At 5:30 I bussed the table myself and a kind employee acknowledged that I shouldn’t have to do that.
At 5:45 I asked a passing server if the kitchen was as backed up as the front of the house and she informed me it was indeed backed up. Asked because we were willing to continue to wait for the meals as long as could get started with drinks.
By 5:50 we still hadn’t seen a server or had anyone check with us, etc.
We left at 6pm to find service and food elsewhere. I did return to Murphys after our meal at the other restaurant and was able to buy a pint of the chocolate whisky dessert to take home.

I’ve been to MLIP once before many years ago and while it was very crowded, we received service and had a great meal.

This visit was different and it didn’t work out for us.

Be aware that it can be very crowded and may be understaffed at times.

We wanted to try a local pub for an Irish themed date night and Murphy’s did not disappoint!

We tried the Pretzels and Cheese appetizer, Murphy’s Reuben, Shepherd’s Pie and Bread Pudding. Everything was amazing but I recommend the Shepherd’s Pie most of these options. The gravy was delicious.

We were able to find seating easily on a Friday at 5 PM and service was very good – our drinks stayed topped off and check-ins were well timed.

The atmosphere was great – sitting farther into the restaurant the music isn’t as loud as right at the entrance and it overall had a solid pub feel.

Looking forward to bringing friends next time!
