I have not been this disappointed in a sushi place in years. Okay, I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but this place steals your money. My roll only came with 6 pieces while my partner came with 8, there was no eel on his roll. It was just filled with cucumber in a cheap way. My roll was just bland. I got Kani sashimi and they just gave me crab sticks with no effort. Everything was expensive. Don’t go here.

I recently dined at this establishment and had a truly disappointing experience. From the outset, the lack of listed menu prices was a major inconvenience. (Few items with a listed price was inaccurate & notably below the price we were charged) The prices seemed arbitrary, and the final bill was a shock. To add insult to injury, we were charged for items we didn’t even order. (They did nothing to right this mistake after charging our card for 2 orders of something we only ordered and received one of…)
The customer service was appalling. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making it difficult to get assistance or address any issues. The seating was uncomfortable and cramped, contributing to an overall unpleasant atmosphere.
Finally, the food itself was just okay. Given the other issues, the mediocre quality of the food was the final nail in the coffin. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

An embarrassing experience. We’ve always enjoyed dining here. Until now. The service, atmosphere and overall dining experience has completely changed – for the worse.
Our last experience was notable for various reasons. Firstly we felt rushed to finish our meal. With only 3 tables being served, it seemed odd to have wait staff literally wait for dishes to be taken away.
Secondly, the attention to detail was lacking. A server served meals to us that weren’t ours. Then abruptly taken away while he laughed.
Additionally, our salads were served in different size bowls, with the one salad noticably smaller than the other.

But the real kicker was when we asked for a bit more rice. It was promptly brought, to discover that they charged us $4.00 for a small bowel of rice .
Is business so bad that you need to charge nearly half of an entree price for a small bowl of rice?

Was able to call at 5:45pm for 6:00pm reservations. They do guarantee your seats until 10 minutes after your reservation time which is pretty nice! Upon arriving, we were seated immediately and I noticed how clean the restaurant was. The bathrooms were clean was well!
Once seated, we placed our order with the waitress while waiting for another family to be seated. They have a full menu for dinners and appetizers, but we opted for hibachi. The chef put on an amazing little show before cooking the food! The service was great and the food was even better! What an amazing experience at Murasaki my family and I had.
Murasaki is just a short 15 minute drive from the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ. Well worth the drive for such a great experience, service and food. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for a late lunch after traveling down to the area for a weekend getaway and picked items off their lunch menu. Our server was apparently new and it was obvious. It was nothing alarming or anything and it something that happens from time to time and did not effect my overall rating. I was happy to see someone from who I presume was from the kitchen come back to table and verify the order just to ensure everything was correct.
We started lunch with the Thai Crispy spring rolls which came out hot and where tasty.
I ordered the Thia Basil chicken which also was tasty and it comes with rice and a soup or salad. We also ordered the noodles with beef and the noodles woth vegetables. Overall it was a great meal that we thoroughly enjoyed and us a place we return to whenever we are down in the area. We did not try the hibachi, but based on food quality, I’m sure it is a win as well.

Enjoyed the sushi lunch special here. For about $13 received 2 rolls, salad, and soup. Fish quality was quite fresh. The salad tasted fresh too.
Food came out very fast too : 10-15 minutes.
Indoor dining was open for lunch but I decided to get my good to-go. Very clean restaurant and nice decor.

If laughter burned calories, I’d be skinnier than the noodles Pete the Boy was flipping around the grill. This man didn’t just cook—he performed. From tossing shrimp into hats (and occasionally at unsuspecting guests ) to building an onion volcano that could rival Yellowstone, Pete brought the heat in every sense.
The food? Absolutely incredible. Steak, chicken, shrimp—all perfectly cooked, seasoned like a chef with secrets, and served with a side of jokes that had our whole table cracking up. The fried rice was so good I considered asking for a to-go tub the size of a small suitcase.
Pete had all the tricks, from catching eggs in his hat to making the spatula sing. He might legally be considered a hibachi ninja. By the end of the night, our bellies were full, and our faces hurt from smiling.
Highly recommend Murasaki—especially if you’re lucky enough to get Pete the Boy. The man’s a legend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
