My wife and I had two extraordinary meals there; dinner and breakfast. I grew up in Mexico and am a big fan of Mole Poblano. There Mole just about brought tears to my eyes it was so good. The restaurant is very pretty with great murals and linen tablecloths. The receptionist asked about food allergies – a thoughtful touch. Our waiter was exceptional. It was not very busy so we had plenty of time to learn about Mezcals from him (the restaurant stocks over 120 different ones) and he let us try several that he recommended before we settled on one from Oaxaca. After dinner he brought over several more unusual ones for us to try (one that was distilled with a bit of snake venom) making the evening truly memorable.
Breakfast was amazing: your choice will come with coffee, fresh juice, pastries, and expertly prepared main dishes. Again with impeccable service on linen tablecloths at a very affordable price. While you are in a Puebla, treat yourself well and dine here.

I’ll say this place is on the pricier side for Puebla, even for a nice restaurant, but you definitely get what you pay for. The food and drinks were excellent, and the small details, like the amuse-bouche soup and the leaf on the tortilla, really elevated the experience.
We started with the quesadillas, which were delicious. I had the Mole de Pipalo and my friend had the Mole de Caderas; both outstanding. Paired with a couple of handcrafted cocktails and a few shots of mezcal, it made for a perfect meal.
The service was also excellent. Our drinks arrived within minutes, and the staff was attentive throughout, bringing salsas, bread, and everything we needed without delay. Highly recommend this place for a special night out in Puebla.

Top notch service and delicious dishes. Real mexican, real food from Puebla. Definitely and upscale restaurant, but not snobby. The dishes were spectacular and the service was very good. Design your own mole dishes with many different protein options.

This is the quintessential Mexican restaurant. It serves traditional food from the state of puebla, focusing mainly on moles and antojos.
I tried cemitas, guacamole and chalupas for starters. They were all great. For my main I had chicken with a mole sauce, which came with rice and beans.
Desserts were also quite good: cremita and a meringue.
The place is a must if you’re visiting Puebla.

Beautiful restaurant with great and delicious food. Very attentive service provided by Edgar who explained the dishes and suggested some amazing mezcal. We even bought a bottle after lunch. I ordered lamb meatballs in green salsa with black beans and red rice. We felt like royalty!

I ordered the tacos and they were amazing, but on the menu it said six flavors, but I got four flavors, six tacos. The service was nice, they were very formal. The only problem was that there was a cockroach on the floor. I got free food because the cockroach.
