Popular place serving Asian Fusion fare, plus wine & beer, in a snug space with a chill vibe.

Cute small place, but service was horrible, from being told to go out side and look at the menu and come back to ask questions . Im a new customer asking questions about your menu and thats all i get ?? When I finally order something im told i can only pay with card not phone it’s preferred .. and its the facial expressions thats looks like a micro aggression . Mxm anyway the food not even that good,, the udon noodles are oily and the portion is small.
Definitely a waste of money and time.

The best Korean restaurant in Seattle very well may be this spot in Magnolia. We are Korean and have been multiple times and each time it is a hit. The food is good enough to compel our friends to make the trip out west. Worth the drive if you aren’t local!

One of my favorite restaurants in Magnolia & easily at top five Asian restaurant in all of Seattle.
Great atmosphere and the owners are super cool. Close your eyes and point to anything on the menu… You won’t be disappointed.

I ordered to go on a Sunday. I was excited to get Korean food. Ordered chicken katsu, bulgogi, scallion pancake and don buri. I asked for recommendations and she said the don buri was most popular. Taste was good/ok. Chicken katsu was good portion but what is up with the beef portions?!! Bulgogi was a childs size (less than half cup) and the donburi was nothing but rice and lettuce. The 3 tablespoon of meat was 75% fat!!! I called and complained but she said they have always served this portion for the last 8 years. Really?!! I fully support local businesses but here I felt ripped off. Wish I could get my money back because that meal cost me a lot!
*** ok, I went back and realized the donburi was only $15 but it’s still too small of a portion. I will post the separation I did from meat vs fat. Maybe thats how people eat donburi but that much fat grosses me out. To make up for the lack of food, I tried my wife’s katsu and I couldn’t do it because of the amount of fat on it. I will eat the bulgogi for later dinner as planned. I will also post the pictures of the meat vs fat portion I separated. It’s really sad.

The food is Great. I ordered spicy seafood food.
The service might have room for improvement, not very friendly.
5 stars nonetheless because loved the food, and that’s the reason we go to a restaurant.

Cozy, hole in the wall with healthy Japanese/Korean eats! For $17-20 you can get a full entree with salad, miso soup, pickled veggies, rice, and some kind of meat. I got the sukiyaki and it was delicious (I ate every single piece!) The restaurant only has a few tables and a warm atmosphere. It’s located on a small side street which does have parking. Also had some piano music playing in the background which was relaxing. Definitely will be back!

After our hike at Discovery Park, we found a small eatery with really good Japanese food. We loved the yakisoba, and the udon, katsu, karaage, and fried rice were all tasty too. The people there were nice and the service was good. It was the first time my parents tried Japanese food and they really liked it. Definitely a good place to eat.

I was going to visit this place for a long time and today I managed to do it and I am happy that I closed this place for myself forever.. I arrived 35 minutes before closing, I was refused dine in, so I ordered food to take away, it’s good that I only ordered one snack and this was enough to understand the level of food, everything is burnt, greasy… it’s good that I was refused because in the middle there was a bad hood and all the smells from food remained in my hair… thank you for the experience and I wish you good business and grateful customers

Excellent service and food. The bimi bowl was awesome. The 3 kimchi appetizer is quite small and very delicious. The karaage chicken was confirmed good by my fiancée. Prices are very reasonable especially considering how delicious the food is.
