I walked in Friday morning and was hit with the delicious smell of fresh banana bread. The atmosphere was busy and the chatter of other patrons filled in the space it was warm and welcoming and I definitely felt it.
I ordered with ease since the menu was easy to read. I ordered a turkey and apple sandwich along with the drink of the month of August ( the mini donut latte ). After ordering I was worried if I would find seating inside but a table opened up before I even got my drink or sandwich.
The apple and turkey sandwich was so damn delicious. The sweet and salty combo really worked well with the Swiss cheese and pumpernickel bread. I loved the mini donut latte it was not too sweet and gave me the kick I needed to start my morning off right.
The staff were great you can tell they definitely have a good relationship with one another, there were people catching up with friends, studying or doing work. I also found this to be a good spot to sit back and read a good book, which I did. Although I had to turn up my headphones a bit I really had a wonderful time.
This is such a great spot and I love how the community shows up. I cannot wait to visit more often.

If you’re in search of a coffee spot that delivers both incredible flavor and impeccable vibes, Munkabeans Coffeehouse is it. The facility is impressively neat and welcoming, with a relaxing ambiance that makes you want to linger long after your last sip.
Now let’s talk about that Iced Cinnabon Latte—a cinnamon-swirled dream that lands squarely in the “why haven’t I had this sooner?” category. It’s dessert and coffee in one delicious, refreshing sip. Paired with their selection of treats, it’s the kind of combo that could easily turn any day around.
Service is top-tier. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure your visit hits the sweet spot. Whether you’re grabbing something to-go or settling in with your laptop and latte, they make the experience feel personal.
If you haven’t stopped by Munkabeans yet, consider this your sign. It’s not just a coffeehouse—it’s a little slice of caffeinated joy.

Stopped in this busy Saturday morning while running errands with a migraine. Took one sip of my hot chocolate & felt a little better already. There was a handful of folks in line but it moved quick & i received my drink & wrap (big size for the price) much faster than id anticipated given the rush. I dont make it here often but always leave this eclectic cafe happier than when i arrived.

Munkabeans is refreshing in a sea of Starbucks and Caribous. You’re instantly hit with “small business” vibes as soon as you walk in. The vibe is extremely eclectic with decor and locals trying to sell their art. It’s not as much my vibe but I know many who would like it. With a small space, you wouldn’t think the menu would have the depth that it does, but it hits every time. Customer service is hit or miss; often filled with teens or young adults, you’re never quite sure if you’ll be treated with a smile or not. Overall, I say, it’s a great space to go to break away from your office desk or hang with a friend. It doesn’t get my thumbs up as a place to focus on work.

Delicious (banana bread and chai tea latte are faves), kind (barista/manager/owner are all amazing), and community centric. Munkabeans is a great place to support small business; I’ve held personal and professional meetups and had great experiences each time!

I really appreciate that they have food made to order. Rather than a frozen sandwich that they heat up in a toaster oven. Its so tasty. Their coffee is delicious and its a fun atmosphere.

Always a thrill to discover fun and creative coffee cafes during my travels both near and far. Enter Munkabeans Coffeehouse on Mainstreet in downtown Hopkins, MN. Super cozy with old time tables and chairs and very welcoming with great coffee, espresso drinks, scones, pastries, sandwiches, wraps and salads. Fun artwork and shopping options too. The leg lamp is a nice touch in the front window. The owner’s goal is to have a place that brought people together. Thank you. Until next time!

Very cute coffee shop located in downtown Hopkins. Love the nostalgia that’s been created with the art work and old-fashioned tables. I was meeting someone and this was a half way point which worked out great. Worked great for working remotely as well.

Munkabeans Coffeehouse in Hopkins has a warm, fresh, homemade feel. From the blueberry muffins cooling on the counter to the local artists’ work displayed on the walls, the coffee shop has a neighborhood vibe that is very inviting. My husband ordered a Cinnabon Latte coffee and shared a sip with me. It was so good, I ordered my own. I also purchased some of the available artwork for sale. ❤️
