The backyard was “off the charts” nice.
The food was Great!! Their chefs made German and Non-German dishes even Better!!
Absolutely Everyone there, every employee, every other customer, even the kids. The entertainment was probably thee best performers, their voices, their melody….. Wow!!
I will return to the cleanest restaurant in Arizona and probably the West!!

Loved this place for years…..not sure if they changed owners or just changed all together. We come here everytime we are in pinetop which is 3-4 times a year. Unfortunately, they got rid of our favorite parts. No more mustard/kraut bar, menu is super limited and beers are now super commercialized. Only 1 German beer on tap, menu had alot of frozen product that just is fried, there is a cuban sandwich on a German menu?????? I understand trying to be diverse, but nothing here is authentic anymore. No more rueben balls on menu, instead we get jack Daniel’s wings…..like from a bottle…..just lost their identity in my opinion. Came in February

I live in Pinetop part time until I fully retire and can live up there full time! I am shears looking for great places to eat at. This place is beyond YUMMY! Great atmosphere ~ amazing food ~ fun owners! The sausage was so good I didn’t even use the bun! My husband got the brisket sandwich, he said it was the best he’d ever had! The instate of this place makes you feel like you’re in a German cottage!

Great restaurant. Patio area is epic, sausages are fantastic, mustard is so good that I always get a pint to go to drag it back to the valley. The menu is pared down in the winter, but whatever they are serving is crafted very well and is always tasty. Great vibe and great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.

What a great spot! The backyard and patios were terrific with lush grass and flowers. We loved the German beers and food and have this on our list of “must return!”

Such a great place! Walking into the backyard is such a relaxing vibe. The owner who greeted us was super nice and helpful. Good German beers on tap. Wursts are really good along with the chips.

Fantastic restaurant offering a great selection of German and other beers. Plenty of pour options including a boot. Good food spanning several styles of sausage alongside a variety of appetizers. No better way to spend an afternoon than sitting under the pines with a beer and a good bratwurst!

The food was decent considering where we are in Arizona. The owner was super cool, really nice guy. He did say that in the wintertime they have a very limited menu and they get rid of a lot of their German beers and all the different things on the menu, so I guess the tip here is to go in the summertime when they potentially have their real full menu.

Update 8/2024: My party ordered Ruben balls, Polish brat and a bratwurst. I ordered mine on a gluten-free bun. For a dollar more we got the warm potato salad instead of chips which I recommend doing. Everything was truly outstanding. I love the condiment bar with all the different mustards and ketchup plus jalapenos, onions, and relish, and a huge pot of warm sauerkraut. The service was super friendly. We were eating outside when it started pouring so we picked a table with it huge umbrella and ate outside anyway. There’s also plenty of indoor seating. I highly recommend this place.
//My party squeaked in just before they closed and we’re so glad we did. The brats and beef Frank were terrific especially smothered in the warm sauerkraut and wonderful array of mustards. I really loved the warm German potato salad as well. This restaurant has not only a very inviting inside ambience, but also a beautiful grassy backyard with tables and some seating. There’s also an upstairs outdoor porch with picnic tables and stools for additional seating. It’s a very inviting place and everyone was so friendly. Check on Facebook for hours and happy hour days.

I got into town pretty late, and everything was closed or closing soon, luckily I was staying next door to this spot and o had been wanting to visit so I quickly headed over. There were closing I’m about an hour. The staff was great, I was able to get two beers and food to go! The bartender/everything else was fabulous, she even recommended some other spots around town which really helped! Stop by and grab a brat and a beer or 4… cheers! Enjoy!
P.s. They do have indoors and outdoor seating, it was cold and dark so I sat at the bar.
