New to the area, and was searching for something but didn’t know what wanted to eat until I stumbled upon this food truck online. Got friends from my hometown that own & operate successful food trucks and I love supporting small businesses! What I really wanted was a “Biggest Glizzy N Nashville” but unfortunately it’s no longer on the menu, however, MUCHIES is a perfect place for a quick dinner or the MUNCHIES!! I was craving a hot dog, haven’t had one in like a year, late Friday night and Munchies was just up the road! A cute quaint little food truck in Nashville, TN specializes in Gyros, but the loaded hot dog was on the menu that night. Service was exceptional, Food was ✨ Coming back real soon for a Gyro y’all!

I live downtown and will often feed the stray cats at the church. I was leaving work heading to my apartment a couple blocks from Broadway (Grand Hyatt area)
I didn’t have any cat food or snacks on me and just saw a new young cat. So I approached the closest hot dog stand for a plain hot dog. Hot or cold was fine. The server seemed to be very accommodating, and even cutting up the hot dog for kitten. So we said, we will go ahead and try couple Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches. I’ll go ahead and pay and feed the cat in the adjoining lot. Ill be back in a couple minutes to get them after I feed the cat around the corner. (The vendor is on the sidewalk at Broadway and 9th in front of the church) He proceeds to show me the bill of almost $60. I was in the middle of looking @munchiies after he insisted I scan their QR. codesand review them. I asked for an explanation. There was quite a bit of a language barrier. Thankfully money is a universal language.. He charged me fifteen dollars for the hot dog as photographed. No bread and nothing on top. I think the Phillies were like twelve bucks. Hot dog $15. Are you serious? Get it together. Ended up paying $12 for the photographed hot dog. These are the guys that make Nashville look bad.. pushy tourist scalpers!
Kills me he was so egotistical while actively violating all the metro laws in place for sidewalk vendors… on a public sidewalk within the banned area. He shouldn’t be able to keep a dime of the money made in a restricted area. But that’s a whole other rant.
