I saw many 5 star reviews for this new place right down the road “Munchies Seafood & Grill” here in Akron. The description & pictures of there food caught my eye. I drive by this place everyday and wanted to try it. A good test for me on quality is getting something simple off the menu – which their menu was huge! I got the bacon cheeseburger and buffalo wings. WOW! WAIT…OMG! WHAT!!! BEST SMASH BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD. Wings were also fabulous – service was top notch as well. They have a new customer for life. I’m so happy they are minutes from my house! A MUST TRY! November 2025

This was my first time visiting Munchies Seafood and Grill. I found them by doing a Google search for soul food. The food was utterly amazing flavorful, delicious, and plentiful. The menu is fantastic! They have tons of options and for all of you folks out there who are vegan! This is a hotspot- If you have a sweet tooth, this is a hot spot If you love soul food, this is a hot spot must visit! Chey, our server was fantastic and professional. I got the rice bowl with chicken, falafel, cilantro aioli, pita bread chips and a mixed berry smoothie, all delicious! I will be returning very soon.

a super welcoming environment with a very friendly and sweet staff the food is OUTSTANDING best burgers me and my husband have ever had, and the cajun shrimp alfredo easily knocks Olive Garden out of the water phenomenal service we will be returning time and time again!!

This meal was expensive, and the wait was extremely long. Once we finally got the food home, we were highly disappointed. The owner was super cool and respectful, so this isn’t about him at all — but the food just wasn’t it.
The wings were the only thing halfway decent. The “loaded fries” in the picture below were barely cooked, the burgers bacon had to be taken off and fried separately just to get it fully done, and the steak sub came on burnt, hard bread.
I almost never leave reviews, but I felt like I had to with this one. Overall, very disappointing, and we won’t be coming back.

HALAL, this place shared staff with a near by reataurant Main Street Munchies, both are halal. Great selection of food items. Price to portion ratio is great. ambiance is great. big hall for group events.

We had such a wonderful experience! Jose was incredibly kind and provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. We were visiting from out of town, and made a stop here for lunch. The food was absolutely excellent, fresh and flavorful. We’re so glad we decided to stop here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and great service.
