I had a disappointing experience at the Munchies location on Virgina Street in Tallahassee. At the start of my order, I asked for two fresh slices instead of the ones sitting in the case. The manager could not tell me how long the pizza had been sitting and did not try to accommodate my request.
When I asked again, I was told it would take 12–15 minutes, which was frustrating since it was implied earlier that my request would be accommodated. The customer service was poor, and the food quality did not meet expectations. This was my first and last visit to this location.

Ordered a “stuffed deep dish” with chicken, pepperoni, banana peppers, black olives, and spinach.
Not only did they forget the chicken, but the pizza itself was also subpar.
Undercooked, few toppings, and mediocre taste.
When I called to let them know they forgot the chicken they blamed it on “a new guy making pizzas” and didn’t make any attempt to make it right stating “it was only 1 topping and like $2”.
This place fell off, only reason to go here is if everything else in the area is closed and you’ll settle for mediocre.

Ordered off doordash first. My deep dish pizza arrived with the sauce shifted mostly to one side. The dough was raw and thin. I called Munchies and they kindly offered to send me another deep dish pizza. It arrived and is still raw, with stringy/chewy dough, and does not contain sausage, which is what I ordered the first time. I’ve had their deep dish before, and it was good. I’m not sure what happened.

Meatball sub was gross, as in mushy overly-salted meatballs with no herby flavor on a mushy bun with meh sauce. Cajun fries were cooked right but were too salty and a little old fryer oil flavored. Extra cheese pizza with garlic crust was pretty good but not very extra mozzarella cheesy. Supreme pizza was good but not great. I’d order the extra cheese again and would try their regular fries and ask for lightly salted but probably won’t order from here again.

Me and my family went here to celebrate my niece 7th birthday and the service was amazing! The staff were very nice and sweet to our family. The pizza was 10/10 as well. Definitely found a new place and will be back for sure.

TRY THE DEEP DISH matter of fact try everything! this place doesn’t miss! like at all. value to dollar ratio is massive Monday 1.50 slices are always a treat and if I miss out on it they still have 2 slices and a drink for $6 best pizza place in town!

Pizza was good, we got a 16inch pie – it was a little too cheesy for me but my girlfriend loved it. Pizza tasted good and looked good.
We also got Cajun fries – those, were awesome
I noticed they had arcade games which was cool.
Felt a little empty – just couple of slices on display and nothing in the other display so maybe they got sold out? Idk.
I would def go again and try some of the other types of pizza

On the beach
I ate this place religiously for years. I liked that they had slices ready for a quick pick up. The last time, they took 10-15 minutes and were in the process of starting to tow my car. I am in the literal business as a patron, but they were towing my car. I used to go 2-7 days a week, and now I haven’t been in 2 months and won’t back.

Definitely one of the best places for NY style and deep dish pizza in Tally (IMO). I often come around lunch since this place is always busy at night. I got to speak with the owner on many occasions behind the counter. Always serving up pizza with a smile and a warm greeting. Every time I come it’s an amazing experience all around. Great atmosphere with even greater pies.

Staff were super friendly. I got my deep dish pizza with bacon really quick and it was delicious! I can normally eat a lot but I had leftovers even with the smallest size. Really good value for money.
