After hearing about this restaurant from Dad, I drove here to try out their Chopped Cheese. It was very delicious and tasty, with all the toppings that are associated with Chopped Cheese, and it is best enjoyed after cooking. I’ll try out the rest of the menu, which are based from New York Bodegas, and some Puerto Rican cuisine. They also have Breakfast options, with the classic Bacon, Egg, and Cheese and some platters offered.

If you’re looking for NY Bodega-style bites then check this place out. Located in the back of a convenience store for the bodega ambience as well. Had their signature Munchie burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. Messy, but delicious and topped with a fried egg and stuffed with fries which is my favorite kind of burger. Also had the beef empanada which was massive, savory, and perfectly crispy with a bubbly crust.
The owner was cool and walked me through the menu. He was very passionate about his food and stood behind his product. Will be back!

I was so excited to try this place out especially when I saw they had chopped cheese. My son got the chopped cheeses and absolutely loved it. I got the rice, beans, and chuleta which tasted just like my grandmas food. Pure love is felt in their food. Please come try it out and support the business.

Munchies is fire, and it fits the name. Before you even get to the food, youre blessed to walk through the type of corner store that has everything you need. Then once you order your food and get it you get the sense that they know what theyre doing in that kitchen. The food was great, and Mr Munchy himself offered ten out of ten service. I ordered the munch burger and it tasted like i could eat it for breatfast every day.

Absolutely no regrets visiting this amazing bodega! Even the name is super catchy. Kelly provided excellent customer service & played good music while waiting for the order.

The burger was one of the best burgers ever. The seasoning was delicious and the special shack sauce is to die for!
Empanadas were delicious. Right amount of crunch & not greasy.
Chicharron was flavorful. It was chicken instead of pork. After taking my first bite, it brought back memories of eating lechon at my family’s food gatherings. It took me right back at home.
Looking behind the counter, I can see some of the kitchen and it looks absolutely spotless! Super clean.
The icing on the cake was the cook named Eric. Eating his food felt like he put his heart & soul into it! And boy, he can cook!!
I will definitely come back to try more scrumptious food.

Munchie Shack serves up a big, loaded burger! I had the namesake Munchie Burger, and it was great. It had bacon, egg, American cheese, a single patty, diced peppers, lettuce, tomato, and potato sticks on a brioche bun with thousand island dressing. The burger was cooked well, and the bun was toasted nicely. They asked how I wanted the egg, so you can get it cooked through or a little runny (which is what I got) It was very tasty, and a little sloppy, but that’s to be expected with a burger like this. This place is definitely a hidden gem in the back of a local convenience store in Winter Springs. Would definitely recommend!

Authentic NY PR food Found this hidden gem accidentally and it will now be my favorite spot for some good food and good vibes. The fact that I was able to order rice and beans with pork chops blew my mind and the food was nothing short of spectacular and flavorful. Reminds me of my grandmother’s cooking. It’s the best kind of homemade food. I’ll be back for more. I want to try everything on the menu!
