Went for a dinner on a Sunday night and ended up waiting for 30 mins before we got seated. Once we were seated, the service was quick. Large selection of vegetarian/vegan soups, all noodles are vegan. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience, we tried multiple soups and all were very flavorful. Highly recommend the tom yum base and Sichuan spicy base. The smoked plum juice was very interesting to try!

Tried vegan hot pot for the first time.
Loved their Yuzu Shio (very soothing) and Tom Yum (spicy and tangy) broths. Overall a very good experience. Very filling and service was quick too. Had to wait in the queue though.
Would recommend joining the Queue on Yelp ahead of time. Lots of vegan options- around 6 different broths and a sauce counter with almost all but one sauce is vegan.

Good portions, fresh meat, each order comes with vegetables (Napa cabbage, bok choy, broccoli, enoki mushrooms, normal mushrooms, tofu) so you don’t need to order extra.
Decent service.
Sauce selection wasn’t the most diverse and not as varied as Haidilao but it had the most iconic and popular options (sesame, chili, soy sauce, green onion, cilantro, etc) — this is really fine with me, as long as they have peanut / sesame sauce I’m satisfied!

I went for a team offsite event for lunch and the place was around 50% packed for a 12-2pm Wednesday lunch.
Coworker friend and I ordered the Classic for 2, so we could choose 3 meats! We chose the Wagyu chuck eye beef, wagyu toro beef, and short rib which were all pretty good.

Came on a Wednesday night after the remodel. The place looks way nicer now — cleaner and more modern. Also basically no wait, which was great.
Got the $75 Classic Combo for two. Portion was pretty big and the meat quality was really good, especially the Angus beef. Super tender. Veggies and seafood were fresh too.
Service was solid. Food came out fast and staff were friendly without hovering too much.
Overall a really good experience after the renovation. Easy spot for hot pot. Would definitely come back.

Solid hot pot place. We ordered three different hotpots for the three of us, and honestly it was a bit much. Could have just managed with two. You can either choose from one of their packages or just go Full Ala carte. When we went, there was a bit of weight, but we got a table within 10 minutes. Everybody on the table gets their individual hot pot, which is great. I got the Tom yun base which I loved. The selection of meat is high-quality, and these sides are pretty good as well. They have a separate sauce station where you can mix and match sauces. It is definitely a bit on the higher side in terms of price, but you definitely get a more premium experience. I would be back and bring other friends as well.

We ordered the Signature Set for two and it was incredible. We chose the Tom Yum and Miso broths both were rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The set came with a generous veggie platter, fresh noodles, and two standout meats: the 100% Kurobuta Pork Collar and the Prime Black Angus Beef Short Ribs. Both were incredibly tender and high quality. We also added shrimp, which were fresh and cooked perfectly in the broth.
The sauce bar is huge, with so many ingredients to customize your own perfect dipping sauce it really takes the meal to another level.
For drinks, I had the Passion Fruit Orange Tea, Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea, and a Matcha Smoothie with Milk Foam. Each one was delicious and paired perfectly with the meal refreshing, not too sweet, and full of flavor.
Highly recommend checking out this new location! Amazing food, great service, and a fun atmosphere definitely a new hot spot in San Jose.

I really like Mumu Hot Pot in Sunnyvale because the broth flavors feel rich and well-balanced, not watered down like some places. The ingredients taste fresh, especially the beef and vegetables, and the sauce bar lets me customize everything exactly how I want. The space is clean and modern, which makes it comfortable to sit and cook for a while. It does get pretty busy at night, so there’s often a wait, but the food usually makes it worth it. Overall, it feels like a solid, reliable hot pot spot that I’d go back to when I want something warm and satisfying.
