I’m supporting this business with whole heart. Respect for the amazing ladies which prepared the order. Everything was fresh, delicious and prepared with love. My first try for Haiti cuisine. Definitely recommended! Thanks

Online ordering was super easy and I got a confirmation AND a phone call when my order was ready. I ordered “mumi’s griot” and the portions are generous. Don’t let it being a “virtual restaurant” (yes, it’s basically someone’s residential home) scare you off. Often times the quality of Haitian food is inversely proportional to the decor and atmosphere, i.e. much fancier places don’t always offer the best level of food. Give Mumi’s a chance.

Wow this was incredible Haitian food! Very friendly service and the value for the price was amazing. Tasty food and they even take credit card. Highly recommend the griot and the fried green plantains!

Updated review.
I have attempted to order from here 2 more times, and both times my order was cancelled. We have to pay upfront, so I have to wait 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS to even get my money back. I will never order from here again, unfortunately. Finally got to try Mumis cuisine today, and I am so glad I did! This is the best Haitian food I’ve had in Hollywood. I ordered the griot complete, and my son got the fried chicken. It’s all perfection. Portions are big. Mumi was so sweet too, and gave me free drinks also. Highly recommend. We will be back!

I wanted to find someone who could cook authentic Haitian food for my girlfriend’s birthday. I called Mumis and spoke with Nina. She carefully heard my requests and told me they’d be happy to do this for me.
Everything turned out great! We swapped out white rice for diri djondjon. I’m American, so I’m just happy to try new foods. While my American tastebuds might be more lenient than Haitian those of Haitian folks, I gotta say everything was spot-on.
They even threw in Jupinas for us. My only regret is not taking photos of our meal before chowing down.
Thank you Nina and Mumis Cuisine for helping to make my girlfriend’s birthday dinner amazing.

It was my first time trying Haitian food and it was incredible. I only ordered one plate of food and the older lady who was very sweet brought an extra plate for my wife free of charge. I can’t recommend this place enough! I’ll definitely be coming back

I will admit, I was skeptical when I realized the restaurant wasn’t an actual storefront and had a hard time finding it. But I understand a lot of small business owners must make do with what they have. The food was DELICIOUS! And I got enough for two meals.
I wish I would’ve taken a picture of everything but I went straight to a friend’s house after a long day and simply wanted to eat. I ordered the fried turkey (asked for it in sauce, and she accommodated the request), Djon Djon rice (if that’s how you spell it), and the Haitian Macaroni. Legit Website, address was in Waze under Mumi’s Cuisine which is a good look!
Food came out so hot and I got to pay her with Zelle so it was simple for me, didn’t even have to get out of the car. Only thing I will say is that I would’ve appreciated ground beef being listed in the description of the macaroni as I try to stay away from red meat and pork, not sure if it was or not, just don’t remember seeing it. But everything was great!

I went down to Miami two weeks ago for a wedding. My family and I decided to order food to watch the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight. Well, let’s just say the food and experience was way better than the fight… First off, the griot was so good! The plantains were fresh, and the pikliz were fire! We also had the fried chicken, dire cole, diri djon djon, macaroni au gratin, and legume! I mean… Maybe we were big backing… But we live in Los Angeles now, and good quality Haitian food is really hard to come across! Anyways, I’m sitting here writing this review on my couch in LA hungry as hell, while reminiscing on how much I miss this food! #Haitianssurvivingoutsideofmiami

Authentic Haitian food, 10/10, the caller spoke english and creole (i spoke in creole but am fluent in both), so it’s very user friendly when it comes to ordering, the wait time was average, at around 20 minutes or so, the food was worth the wait though. Make sure to check them out!

I got a boulet (6 Haitian meatballs) plate with diri kole. Food tastes good. Didn’t get a chance to take a picture but it was a full plate. Yes, it is residential but there is a banner out front to let you know. Will be back for sure.
