Has tongue loved taste. Decoration was nice for Valentines day.Maharashtra real food with varities. I like chilly paneer, hakka noodles, veg fried rice, veg subzi, fries to kokum punch. Friendly people serve with smile regardless how busy it gets. Few mins wait but worthy with family time. Highly recommend for best restaurant list.

I was in Ledgewood NJ and searched for Indian restaurants in the area and was lucky to find Mumbai Tadka. This place is owned and operated by Mumbaikars and it reflects in the taste. Everything I ordered was delicious and reminded me of home. The taste was so good that I had to go back again. I ordered chilli chicken, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan on the first day. The food was so delicious that I forgot to take pics. On the second day I got a kebab platter and Pomfret fry. Everything was fresh, flavourful and delicious. Last but not the least the service is fantastic. Felt back at home talking with my friends.

A spectacular celebration of Indian food, seamless service and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to accommodate allergies (gluten-free options). The food was delicious and the staff were all, really all, very attentive and courteous. The BYOB seemed to create a beautiful communal environment. Highly recommend this upcoming superstar of a restaurant.

Absolutely delicious! The food at this Indian restaurant blew me away — every bite was bursting with rich, authentic flavors. The Mumbai Tadka took me all the way back to real Mumbai, the taste of authentic spices are proportionately added to every dish. I don’t know what to tell you. I would say this is podium for me. Top 3 local Indian restaurants I have been to, or rather experienced. When you look at this place you see a small restaurant with the title Mumbai Tadka. When you enter you see Mumbai quality food. I strongly recommend trying the chicken 65. Although a common item, there is a unique subtle tanginess to it. Some may like it, some would rather order samosa chaat. Beautiful presentation, compliments to the chef. We ordered 3 entrees, kadai chicken, Malabar goat curry, and last but not least, kolapuri chicken. For breads we had spicy garlic naan, keshwara naan, and paratha. For dessert we had the gulab jamun with some white custard. Although I have forgotten the name of the custard after coming back…it was the most AMAZING, genuinely amazing dessert I’ve had. Take a pause here. I am not paid to write this. Not a paid actor. This is heartfelt, heartwarming, heartmelting-ly good food. Your choice on what you want to try, but remember, regardless of what yo choice, it will be at the level of Mumbai tadka. Compliments to the owner for giving us the everlasting chance to satisfy our tastebuds once more. (Will come back here regardless of what people have to say.) 🙂
