Reviews
The food was flavorful and well prepared. The Chinese Bhel and Hakka Noodles were delicious and nicely balanced in taste. The Saag Chana was also well cooked and comforting. The Misal Pav was tasty and satisfying. The only item that felt slightly underwhelming was the Vada Pav — the patty was just okay compared to the other dishes.
One thing we really liked was that the food wasn’t overly oily, which made the meal feel lighter and enjoyable. Overall, a great spot for Mumbai-style street food, especially if you’re looking for Jain-friendly options.
A small suggestion: avoid going too close to closing time. We felt a bit rushed toward the end of our meal, so it’s better to plan earlier—especially on weekends. Calling ahead for reservations is definitely recommended.
We ordered some of their specials: Avocado Bhel, Chicken Bao Buns (extremely tasty!), and Hakka Noodles. Not a single dish disappointed us. But the star of the night was the Orange Kulfi for dessert—so unique, refreshing, and absolutely appetizing! ✨
Overall, a great spot for North Indian taste buds looking for something flavorful and different. Highly recommended!
The cutting chai with bun maskaa takes you straight back to Mumbai—comforting, nostalgic, and absolutely spot on. Don’t miss the Orange kulfi—it’s unique, refreshing, and the perfect way to end the meal. Portions are generous, flavors are authentic, and the chill vibe with friendly service makes this place a standout.
Highly recommended for anyone craving real Mumbai street food, from snacks to desserts!
Also, try their Dhaba style bone-in chicken and chicken tikka.
Good Job Mumbai Maska !!

Make sure you get the table reservations done in advance on the weekends to avoid waiting.
Moving on to the entrées, this is where things really fell apart. We ordered two different curries and were specifically told that they would be spicy. Instead, both were overwhelmingly sweet and lacked depth of flavor. There was no balance of spices or richness in the gravies; everything tasted one-dimensional and bland. For a cuisine that is known for bold flavors and aromatic spices, this was very disappointing. It felt like the dishes were adjusted to be overly sweet rather than authentic.
The bread we ordered, Onion Kulcha, was also a complete flop. It was dry, had hardly any onion filling, and didn’t pair well with the curries. Freshly made Indian breads are usually one of the highlights of a meal, but here it felt more like an afterthought. Same goes for Garlic Naan.
Overall, the food quality, taste, and presentation were below expectations. Nothing on the table gave the impression of care or authenticity. For the prices charged, I expected at least decent flavors, but instead, it felt like we were served watered-down versions of what Indian food should actually taste like.
This is not a restaurant I would recommend for anyone looking for authentic or even good Indian food. There are far better places where the flavors are bold, the spices are balanced, and the dishes are made with care. Sadly, this place is just not worth it.
Highly recommended.
