Welcome to Mumbai Dreams. A new chapter for Mehtab and Nausil, a Mother and Son team whose family spearheaded 2 very successful restaurants in Brooklyn. The establishments which ran for over 30 years, were managed day to day by Dawood, husband of Mehtab and father of Nausil. Our focus here is to give you a culinary experience that will bring together cross-cultural homemade recipes and freshly ground spices that are soured from local farmers in India, while taking a sustainable approach to cooking. We focus on North Indian and Maharashtrian delicacies that highlight aromatic spices which can be beneficial to our health both short and long term.

As a Nyack native, I can say that this restaurant and everyone in it was phenomenal. It was not only the best Indian cuisine I’ve had, but amongst the best food I’ve ever eaten. The server/manager Imad was extremely attentive, answered all of my questions, and explained the dishes in detail. The restaurant owner was beyond professional, and treated me like a special guest. The atmosphere and warmth of the place heightened my experience. I will be returning again and again. Some of the dishes I had and recommend are the chicken tikka masala, cauliflower, Mac n cheese, and wings, although everything was delicious. A real hidden gem in Nyack.

Appetizers wise: we tried samosa, Gobi Manchurian and chicken 65.. samosa was a really super fresh and amazing..
Entree wise: butter chicken Mac and cheese was something that kept the rank for them. Adults or kids, we all loved it.. Paneer tikka masala truest sense was likely paneer makhani.. it was missing the fattiness in gravy, like cream or so..
I really wish they tone down chemical food colors to keep it close to natural look and feel.. and obviously avoiding chemicals food colors.. we did try cocktails menu.. but certainly looked interesting.. definitely a place to try for sure

Truly authentic Indian food. My parents & I came here tonight for dinner with my dad’s best friend, who treated us to dinner for my dad’s birthday. It was a 10/10 across the board. The food, service & ambience were all spectacular. The drinks were delicious & strong. My mom & I both had the “Girly Worly” & loved it!

This place is such a hidden gem and has some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The fried tikka masala sandwich is a favorite but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Wow!

I had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant. I ordered the lamb and the butter chicken, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The lamb was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The butter chicken had a rich, creamy sauce with just the right balance of spices.
Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the flavors were incredible. The portions were generous and the meal was very satisfying. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves great Indian food, and I will definitely be coming back again .

Had such a great time at Mumbai Dreams! The food was BEYOND delicious. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. You can really tell they put care into each dish. The staff made us feel so welcome and the vibe of the place was warm and relaxed. This might be my new favorite spot in Nyack. Can’t wait to go back!

We went to Mumbai Dreams to celebrate a family birthday and we loved the experience! We ordered Mumbai Vada Pav, Chowpatty Bhel, Dahi Puri, Vegetable Biriyani, Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Tikka Mac & Cheese, Aam Panha, Mysore Coffee, Masala Chai, Ras Malai Sampler! Each dish was authentic and delicious! As I bit into Vada Pav , took me back home… the flavor was popping!!! Chowpatty Bhel also took me back to Chowpatty! The biriyani was spicy and flavorful, rice was good quality. Mysore coffee and Masala Chai was okay. Ras Malai Sampler was rich and delicious! We received Carrot Halwa with ice cream on the house, it was delicious! Customer service was awesome! A special huge shout out to the manager Iman! Thank you so much, Iman,for your professionalism and kind service! I highly recommend Mumbai Dreams to foodies who would like to experience authentic Bombay khana!!!
