Drove from Logan and we were NOT disappointed! All of our bowls (chicken and shrimp) were awesome and the crab Rangoon was really good too…I thought the MuM Mum sauce was a bit odd but everyone else loved it. We got there pretty close to when they opened and after we ordered they brought our food out to our car. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve eaten here a few times now and my experience is generally positive. The food is tasty, they cook it fresh to order and it’s always out to you really quickly! The side “salad” is literally just a handful of premix salad like you can buy at the grocery store though. I also am really surprised that people are ok with the prices here. While it true you get a decent amount of food, over 90% of it is rice or noodles which cost absolutely nothing relative to the price they are charging.

First time trying MuM Mum. We had lunch bowls (fried rice), my date had chicken as her protein, and I had shrimp. We were very pleased. Delicious food, friendly service. (Be aware the picture of the chicken dish was in direct sunlight, altering the color appearance of the dish)

I have genuinely never written a review, but this day has been a doozy.
Brought in my own tofu from Kroger, just praying to get some protein in me before work, as meat makes me queasy recently.
These lovely people agreed and cooked my tofu PERFECTLY.
Anyways, y’all need a meal and are in Athens, I highly recommend! (Photo is missing a piece or two.. I got a little giddy before realizing I needed to write this review)

My family and I ate here shortly before closing last evening. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Answered all of our questions and made sure we were happy with our meals. The meals are well worth the price and you will be going home with yummy leftovers. The shrimp was perfect.

Surprisingly there are a handful of restaurants in Athens that serve Hibachi, or at least more than I expected to find! So far I’ve tried them all & they’re all pretty good – but Mum Mum easily takes first place.
Our food was prepared quickly, and it was quite delicious – well cooked & well seasoned. The food has the feel of coming from a fancy sit-down Hibachi restaurant, but without spending nearly as much time or money.
Highly recommend giving this place a try!
