So long n the short. Went ro see a friend after a funeral we went into have a shot (cause one tends to drink after these things happen) and the old battle ax in behind the bar named “Amber” grilled me on who I knew and why I was there. I don’t frequent bars, but I finished up work nearby and was looking for a place to sit down and eat. I rolled the dice and walked into Mulligan’s. I got the Bar Burger. It didn’t have a proper bun–it was a half a sub-roll, but it was toasted and still quite good. The burger had a good flavor (I think it might have been part sausage, or the bacon just really shown through) but was thinner than I preferred, yet still a quarter pound of meat or so. Got to meet Scott, the owner. He was outgoing and energetic; seems motivated to make it a good place to hang out. There’s also a cat who comes and goes as he pleases, which for me, adds to the place’s charm.
