This review is a little tricky, but the good food and service warrant a 4-star rating.
Location: The restaurant is linked with the Rolling Meadows Golf Club. Its volume seems to be directly tied to the golf course activity.
Atmosphere: When we visited, the restaurant was alarmingly slow, which was confirmed by the server’s concerning comments about the lack of business.
Ambiance: The restaurant was clean, and the views were nice.
Menu : The current in-house menu is quite small and is different then menus posted online.
Food Quality: We enjoyed our food,
The Portobello Mushroom Sandwich was really good—not slimy, had a great crunch, and the balsamic glaze was the perfect touch.
Pricing: Items were priced à la carte, though prices were average and in line with other restaurants. If you ordered a side from the appetizer section, it was half-price and the portions were quite generous.
Note for tea drinkers: the tea was disappointing. It was diluted, more like water with a hint of tea.

The food was incredible! Our drinks were very poor but the waitress let us know they were new at making them so no harm there. However we had ordered an Apple Bomb and it was clearly a Moscow Mule but after a second attempt we were fine with this drink.
The grilled tenderloin was spectacular but when asked if i wanted fries as my side it was not made knowledge to me that this would be a 2.50 extra charge. I wouldn’t have gotten the fries since we had appetizers already. Both of which were very good. My partner got the fish and chips which were very good but the fish was no fresh, given that this is very woodland indiana thats to be expected.
The speed of food being made and coming out to being asked for anything else abd getting our check was all top notch.

Trish was so unbelievably hospitable, I am writing this review before we even ordered our food.
We like 50 mins away and 100% will come back just because of the hospitality and the phenomenal view.

Took over 1 hr to get our food. Two of our food orders were incorrect. We had to ask for drink refills. Waitress was slow and seemed disoriented, no clue what was going on. LOUD! We couldnt even talk. I was so disappointed.

I cannot say enough great things about this establishment! We came from out of town to meet a friend who took us here. Every single thing we had was phenomenal! The service, fried portobello mushrooms, chicken wrap, and tenderloin were amazing.

Me and my wife just moved back to Spencer after being away for 40 years. We were disappointed in the restaurants in the area, but someone told us about Mulligans and it did not disappoint. The food and service was very good. We have been there 3 times and was good every time. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars was the Cuban sandwich was very good but small. I would definitely recommend this place.

Outdoor tables were dirty with bird droppings, at 3pm on a Monday. Otherwise, this place is perfection! Great views, perfect service and plenty of seating! Also, no vegetarian selections on the menu.
