Our favorite meal of our trip! I got scallops and my husband got the fried seafood! The atmosphere was great – we sat on the heated patio and it was so worth it! We got to watch the sun set over the water! Service & food were great!

We had a MOST AMAZING Thanksgiving dinner here tonight / better than my Moms cooking ( don’t tell her I said so).
I could tell a lot of effort went into making each dish – EVERYTHING was amazing. So perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had Turkey , mash potatoes , stuffing, crab cakes, hush potatoes, ham, etc . I typically don’t love green beans, however I just changed my mind tonight – theirs ROCKED!
Many compliments to the chef and kitchen crew who’ve probably not slept in 48hrs. You guys outdid yourselves. Now get some sleep!

What a great place for a meal! Great menu with lots of options. Definitely recommend having a Crush cocktail to drink, they have many flavor options; the Coconut-Lime and Creamsicle were our favorites.
Thai chili shrimp tacos were amazing along with the Crab Pretzel for an appetizer. Really easy to get to and highly recommend it!

Great heated patio so we could bring our dog when it was cold outside. Loved the dog menu. The crush cocktails were great and we Also enjoyed the oysters and clam chowder. Highly recommend even if you don’t have dogs!

Where to start. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Great food, wonderful service, and fun atmosphere. A friend and I were visiting and ate here two nights in a row to try out their menu. Highly recommend their crab balls with the spicy tartar sauce. Our server Sara was super kind and extremely helpful. Our puppies enjoyed themselves, too, with their unique menu for dogs. Definitely will be coming back to enjoy more.

We came here for the dog menue and were so pleasantly surprised. The pups were truly welcome on the upper deck. Given bowls of water and of course we ordered off the pup menu . There were so many dogs we loved it.

Love the outdoor upper bar seating! It has great views of the ocean! Food was good, service was great! The bar tender made me a Cat 5 drink off the old menu and it was glorious!! Will definitely be one of our stops each trip!

Dog friendly and amazing food. They had gluten free options for me and a menu for our pup. Her chicken and rice was served on a frisbee she gets to take home. The Mulligan burger was amazing and the obx crush. So good! Service was amazing! Joe and Denise are wonderful. We had such a great time. Will be back when we are in the area!

NOT TAKING A GROUP THERE FOR THANKGIVING AGAIN. We used to go to to Mulligans quite regularly. The food was good. The service was great. The prices were reasonable. Then things changed. The prices went up a bit and the serving shrank. We stopped going there. But on Thanksgiving, not able to get reservations at restaurants elsewhere, we decided to go to Mulligans. Well, though described as a buffet on an online search, it turned out to be a fixed plate service. Red flag. Disappointed, I decided not to get the turkey and ham plate,an opted for a seafood platter. The seafood was well prepared but the French fries were oil soggy and not hot, faintly warm. Boo. My wife’s fish tacos were fried but barely, acceptable. .. Two other guests ordered the turkey dinner plates. What a disappointment. The turkey appeared to be sliced deli processed turkey, and the ham was also thinly sliced processed deli type meat. Asking for seconds wasn’t possible. The dessert appeared to be a commercial dessert cup, still in the metal cup, that just had an added wafer cookie and some whipped cream. Nothing, I mean nothing, expected for a special thanksgiving meal. And for nearly $40, well, it’s not going to happen again.

Next year, if you can’t get into any restaurant for a thanksgiving meal, stay at home, make a turkey sandwich or buy a turkey sub save $40.

We had the Creole Shrimp & Grits and the Mulligan Burger. The Creole Shrimp & Grits was amazing (my wife couldn’t stop raving). The burger was very good. It didn’t stand out to me in any particular way but it was very solid. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly, great service!
