The Irish pub is ideal for a bite and drink. We ended up here as we were looking for an after-dinner light meal. The bar was packed with what seemed to be many locals. Patrons were greeted by the staff on a first-name basis which added warm to the atmosphere. As visitors, my hubby and I were welcomed warmly by a young server who took our drink order quickly after sitting down. At least a couple of times, both the bartender and, possibly, the owner went to check up on us to make sure everything was going well. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they had at least one vegetarian option, veggie pizza. It was the perfect portion to share between us two since we weren’t starving. For Carmel, we were delighted to spend under $50 for a shared meal and two Guinness beers (tip extra). This pub is a must for a no-frills meal, drink and excellent service. We will make it a regular stop every time we visit Carmel.

Came here for a Saturday dinner after spending the day in Big Sur.
It’s definitely a loud, lively bar atmosphere.
I ordered the butter squash ravioli. It was sweet and buttery. Good flavor overall. Honestly better than what I expected from typical bar food.
What threw things off was the staff. We were seated near the stairs and could clearly hear two employees having a verbal argument. It went on long enough to really disrupt the meal. Felt uncomfortable and unprofessional.

I will counter earlier reviews that describe food as sub par pub fare. Our dinner of Veg ravioli and veg pizza was incredible. Salad was top tier. Local on tap beers and wine were excellent. We brought our pup inside since staff was extremely dog friendly. They even brought her unseasoned chicken strips! Easy walkable location. Again, staff shine here. Super friendly and professional. Lovely experience.

Great place, chill vibes. We popped in for lunch looking for a tasty burger and something casual. Food was very good, especially the fries, drinks were strong and the tvs were loud for Big 12 basketball

Great bar, very nice staff and wide selection of drinks. Very good for catching a game or similar. Would not recommend dogs even though they love them, it’s a bit too cramped and busy for a pup. Food is below average bar food. Recommend a liquid diet.

We were in town and after dinner looking for a nice bar to have a drink which we found Mulligan and our experience was amazing. 3 girl bartenders were awesome, serving drinks fast and making sure we were good.

Friendly spot for a drink! They have a full menu and it’s Dog friendly inside, and outside. We have a small 4lb dog and sat at a table with her in our lap, and we saw a large golden retriever on a Leash on the ground, and two small dogs on leash on the ground. Great patio you can sit at too with a fireplace!

The staff was very friendly. The bar environment was comfortable and had plenty of tables for groups. There are a lot of fun dishes that I’ve never seen before on the menu. It’s a good place to stop at for a quick meal during the day or some cocktails and beers in the evening.

Hands down the best bar in town! Great vibes, great staff, cheap drinks, good food. Loved the pizza and the wings. Came for the 49ers game and it was lively but the staff handled it well.
I think we stopped by 2-3 times over the week we were there.

I was in this bar for less than five minutes before being called a “douchebag” by the bartender after I politely returned an improperly poured Guinness. I accepted the second pint despite it still being incorrect, simply to avoid further conflict. At no point was I disrespectful, yet the response I received was defensive and unprofessional. Regardless of how busy a bar is, verbally insulting a new customer is unacceptable. This is not the level of service I’d expect, nor something I imagine management would condone.
Drinks priced excessively:
Guinness – $10
Aperol Spritz – $16
