Overall, everything was really good! Location provides a pretty nice view of the capital and downtown. We had the pickle chips, pork tenderloin sandwich, and the triple berry French toast. No complaints about any of the food, but the French toast is very sweet just in case you’re not into that.

THIS is the place! Great food, great service, great local vibe. We come often and the food is consistently good. Ashley and Amy are typically our servers. We are always greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel like family. The blackened catfish & grits is one of our favorites specials (Wednesday). So flavorful!. Try it with shrimp too! 😉 The avocado and toast is my regular go to. A perfect meal to start the day!

This place is unique and fun.
It is also right by the river and bridge, so you can take a walk afterwards. Heck there are also bikes and scooter to rent and ride. We were in the mood for some fried food and our youngest wanted a Belgian waffle, so Mullets was the place that had it all.
It is named after the Mullet Fish but they play up to the Mullet Hairstyle with many cool picture collages of vintage mullets.
There is even a section with old sports cards that have players such as Jagr with their famous Mullet hairstyles.
Also make sure to use the men’s room for more great pictures of famous movie scenes. Don’t Be Scared!

Always been good on our breakfast visits! We have yet to try lunch. Love both the Seafood hash and the morning mullet. Everyone at this visit of 9 we’re all happy. Enjoyed the flight drinks. Service also was great.

Our first experience but not our last. It was very busy ( around 11 on a Cubs game day ) but the wait for food & drinks was not long at all. Our server Marissa was extremely friendly & very knowledgeable.
We chose the Reuben with onion rings & the Eggs Benedict Flight. Tons of food for 2 people to share. And the Bloody Mary’s were awesome.

We had a fun evening out with our 3 kiddos. The service was excellent and the food tasted great! The kid’s personal pizza, cheeseburger, and mac n’ cheese were all very much enjoyed by them and the portions were very generous. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was huge and the Turkey Gouda Strawberry sandwich was a fun change of pace. The fries were hot and delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Affordable restaurant with good food and service. Most things were under $15 – Many options. Nice sports bar atmosphere. Beautiful view of a pond. Drinks come in metal glasses that look cool, but they are cold. It was pretty empty on a Thursday night which I appreciated (I believe Google has their hours wrong). They are open in the evening. I’d come back. I thought thrrr chicken and waffles were great. Good burgers.
