I’ve been a patron and huge fan of Mulberry Street’s San Fernando Valley location for decades. As a Brooklyn-born Jersey Girl, there’s no question Mulberry’s pizza is the real deal — and then to discover the lasagna pie…hooked for life. 🙂
When I was given the job of arranging for pizza, salads, knots etc. for our office holiday party, I didn’t think twice. The Sherman Oaks location was the closest for delivery and they absolutely delivered, in every sense of the word. The event was earlier today — I got tons of compliments for the spread, but I gotta give credit where credit’s due:
I can’t say enough good things about Jose — kind, professional, a good communicator, with a lovely, mellow vibe that made it fun to seal the deal over a couple of phone calls. From brainstorming quanitities with me to taking the payment over the phone, Jose made everything easy and hiccup-free. Delivery driver Alejandro, who’d already been racing around the valley for hours, was kind and patient while waiting for my coworkers who were tracking down a cart. He did a verbal cross-check as he unloaded all the items — all there, so on to the party. (Alejandro, forgive me: I had a tip for you in my pocket and found it hours later….I’ll make good during a future visit!)
Everything arrived as ordered, looking good and tasting great. It was fun to see people’s eyes light up when they saw ‘Mulberry Street’ on the pizza boxes — they were in the know! My one ordering mistake was to get only one lasagna pie…I nabbed the last slice, with no apologies, and was in heaven.
Thank you, Jose and Alejandro, for helping to make our office party catering a terrific experience!

My granddaughter (9) suggested this place. We ordered a whole pizza and dined in for a slice. To me, a price point of over $35.00 for a pizza is too high with cheese and mushrooms on only half. But for a one-time experience that was good, it was fine. There pies a large. Although they are thin, the ingredients are quality fresh. All the food we saw them making looked good. The service was great. Everyone was friendly. Felt like a good Ole local mom and pop joint. I recommend giving it a try.

Our whole family enjoyed their large pieces of pizza, bowls of pasta and ice-cold drinks so much so we went two days in a row while on our vacation. Super friendly establishment, convenient parking. There’s something for everyone. The ingredients are fresh (artichoke and tomato was my favorite!) and the pizza crust is perfectly crispy. My hubby said it’s easily the best pizza he’s ever had! Oh yeah, and don’t miss out on the hugely delicious chocolate chip cookies!

Small place with friendly workers. I got 3 cheese pizza slices. Each were $5 and pretty big. The dough is really good, firm and cooked well. There isn’t a lot of cheese. But the sauce carries the pizza.

This is a great pizzeria! Had the spaghetti and meatballs and a slice of pepperoni and sausage pizza to go. Both were absolutely delicious. I wasn’t aware of the history of mulberry pizzeria before I visited, but it was really cool seeing all the celebrity clients talking about the pizza here. If you want pizza, I definitely recommend this place!

Best place in southern California for a Brooklyn style pizza. Thin, large foldable slices with tasty tomato sauce and cheese grease.yummy. Not too many places selling authentic Brooklyn style pizzas, so stop by if you truly appreciate them. They sell by the slice or whole pie.I suggest whole pie as it’s made fresh.add some hot oil as well if you haven’t tried that before.four locations apparently, so check it out if you get a chance.
