One of my absolute favorite pizza spots in LA—especially if you’re from Boston or New York and craving a true East Coast neighborhood slice.

LA has plenty of pizza options, but very few come close to what East Coasters grow up with, particularly when it comes to the deceptively simple cheese slice. Getting that balance of crust, sauce, and cheese just right is harder than it looks, and Mulberry absolutely nails it. I regularly drive from Venice Beach to Beverly Hills just for this pizza, and it’s worth every mile.

Funny enough, I first discovered Mulberry at their Las Vegas location in Resorts World. It was so good that I ended up canceling multiple dinner reservations that week just to go back for more pizza. It had been years since I’d had a proper Boston-style neighborhood slice, so finding Mulberry felt like a reunion with an old friend.

Finding out they also have locations in LA was a game-changer. If you’re an East Coast transplant—or just appreciate pizza done right—this place is a must.

I had a great experience at Mulberry Street Pizzeria. The crust of the pizza was perfect and the toppings were fresh and delicious. The restaurant has a cozy and clean atmosphere. The staff is very polite and friendly. This is a great place to sit with friends or family and eat good pizza. I would definitely come back.

Solid neighborhood pizza spot. Is it as good as in NY? No it is not, unfortunately, but no pizza in LA is in my opinion. Is it a great option being in LA? Yes. Will be coming back.

This place is our favorite pizza spot! Love their NYC-style pizza!

I had Mulberry first in Vegas, but it’s nice having a place closer to home and with relatively free parking. There’s a parking lot within walking distance that’s free for 2 hours.

If this is your first time, you have to try their pepperoni pizza and Mulberry Street New York pizza (aka cheese pizza) first! We usually get a whole pie of each ($32.95 for pepperoni and $27.95 for Mulberry Street New York Pizza). Their slices are thin, full of flavor, and stretchy with cheese! We usually dust off several slices before taking the rest home to enjoy later that week.

Make sure to save your receipts as they have a promo where you get a free pizza after 10 purchases of $30+.

Dine-in seating is more for smaller groups and we found it easy to find a table when we come during off hours.

A really great pizza stop! If you want authentic NY/New Haven style this is the go to Apparently most of their business is in delivery so the inside of the restaurant is usually on the quiet side Great pepperoni but I heard the bbq chicken was the best! Will have to go back and try that one!

We placed an order online for pickup for a pizza with a side of ranch and Dr. Pepper. The pizza took a little longer to be prepared than quoted but it wasn’t too long of a wait. The restaurant is much bigger than you expect from the outside. It goes back a long way and there are plenty of choices to sit and dine in. We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked the pizza back and it was still hot when we got back – (about 10 min walk). The staff is very friendly and the place was clean. I would recommend this pizza place to anyone in the area. It’s new york style with reasonable prices!

New York style pizza in LA. Obviously good, with a Hollywood grunge vibe. Graffiti on the walls, signs celebrity headshots everywhere from everybody from DeNiro and Pacino to others. Pizza was outstanding and people are cool. It’s on Beverly boulevard.

The best NY style pizza by the Slice in LA! The way the dough is perfectly crispy on the bottom after it’s reheated is my ideal slice situation!
We tried the Buffalo chicken slice for the first time and loved it. Other favorite slices: bbq chicken, eggplant parm, cheese, pepperoni, white slice

Stopped by this local pizza place after a long walk through Beverly hills, small place cool long entrance and we ordered a large pizza for 4 of us. Well… when we saw it we weren’t sure we could eat half but its thin crust and not as heavy as other pizzas so needless to say it was completely devoured! Here is a before and after, that pizza didn’t stand a chance!
