I’ve tried a number of the Best of Brick Lane Indian restaurants, and this is our new favourite. a close second is Bengal Village. Booked early (6pm) on Friday and was the first table seated. Pleasant staff who were available to help, but not pushy at all. The food was delicious and (with the Fork 50%) was a fantastic deal. I also appreciated how they didn’t push you for a Google review before paying – like some of the other establishments. 5 stars.

Can book for 50% off food on The Fork and think it’s now my fave brick lane place. The sizzling dishes were really good especially the prawn. They were huge and had a really nice butter bbq taste. The curries all great and the papadoms also had a coconut chutney which I’ve never seen before.

I went during the curry festival weekend. It was good to be back in Brick Lane after so long away. The food was good and excellent value.
Next year I’ll go on the final day of the Curry Festival. So much more street entertainment on that day.

Fantastic food and fantastic service, which isn’t that easy to find in Brick Lane. This is the second time that I’ve visited here and the high quality has been consistent. I had the Lamb Dansak, Lemon Rice and Keema Naan. Every part of my meal was perfect. This restaurant not only has an award but its this year’s award. I absolutely recommend this place.

We went to this restaurant without very high expectations, thinking it might be another spot with toned-down Indian flavors tailored for a Western palate. But it completely took us by surprise—in the best way possible!

From the moment we walked in, the service felt incredibly personal and welcoming, almost like being part of a family gathering. The staff took the time to ask about our taste and spice preferences and made recommendations accordingly, which made a big difference.

The food itself was absolutely delicious—authentic, full of flavor, and truly reminded us of home-cooked Indian cuisine. It was such a happy and comforting experience, something you don’t often find, especially in the city.

Another big plus is how reasonably priced the restaurant is. It’s not another overpriced Central London spot trying to look fancy—it’s genuine good food at a fair price.

With the combination of heartfelt service and amazing food, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for real Indian flavors and a warm dining experience.

Outstanding Ruby – I went for the chicken chilli garlic which was delightful: a nice amount of heat that is balanced well by the copious amounts of garlic. The different rices were also great, as were the poppadoms and dips.

The only improvement would be larger portions of curry but the quality and service are both excellent.

Muhib really impressed me. On photos, the restaurant doesn’t look super appealing but do NOT let yourself think that is how it is. Muhib looks so much better in person and the food was just excellent.

Let me start by mentioning the meal was just a unique experience, everything tasted great and it was full of flavour.

The place is very relaxing and feels like home.

However, the most important thing is that the staff provided an amazing superb service which I can’t say I have found in other places.

The staff was super friendly, always smiling, always checking if we needed something, also did everything they could to ensure we had an amazing experience.

I would recommend Muhib to anyone. My friends surely know now about this place and that the travel to get there is worth it.
