Mugsy’s Tavern and Grill has been voted for the best Burger and Service in town 8 years in a row! We have 15 taps serving craft beers from the local area and bottled beers too. We also offer specialty cocktails and have a full bar. You will find a nice variety of Washington wines. Our outside patio offers plenty of seating and is pet friendly with some restrictions to ensure everyone a good time.

I had the black and blue salad . The steak was tender and medium rare just as ordered. The housemade gorganzola dill dressing was tasty. Red onions would be a nice addition. The atmosphere was amazing as we sat outside, enjoying the beautiful day. We ordered a Reuben sandwich and tater tots, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The corned beef was incredibly tender, and the bread was perfectly toasted. The sauerkraut and dressing on top were spectacular, adding just the right amount of tanginess. The French dip was equally impressive, with meat stacked high. Adding mushrooms and onions was a fantastic choice, complemented perfectly by the provolone cheese. The sandwich was incredibly flavorful. The fries were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. To top it all off, I had a huckleberry lemon drop martini, which was simply amazing. It’s now my new favorite drink. The sugar around the edge and a hint of lime made the drink pop with flavor.

If you sit near the bar you may hear some loud foul language. We had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. Oh My! So good. We also had the coconut shrimp, they were good too. The waitress was super nice and checked don us just the right amount of times.

We had the best meal! But the service was incredible! Allison was our waitress, and let me tell you what an amazing young lady! She had us all laughing from the minute we sat down until we left! Mugsy’s is a refined bar in the city center of Bonners Ferry Idaho. The restaurants menu has plenty of options and the location of this destination is cozy. I got the Chicken Ranch sandwich, the chicken was cooked very well and seasoned almost perfect, the bacon was unfortunately flavorless and my co-workers salads were to small for what they paid for. The onion rings were the saving grace paired with the ranch which was amazing. I liked the food but would not be my first pick again.

A dark bar serving refined bar food. I got the Black & Bleu salad, which was good. If you’re sensitive to colorful language, this may not be the place for you. A gentleman in the bar was swearing so much it was fairly off-putting. The bar opens up into the restaurant, so if it’s loud there, it carries into the restaurant.

Food was tasty and the special was reasonably priced. Good menu selection except not much in the way of seafood. Wife’s steak (medium)was undercooked had to send it back. Somewhat on the expensive side we thought. Proportions were just right. Service was excellent.
