I will admit, I had my reservations when I walked into the place.
First off, we were thinking it was a place we could sit down and eat. It is not. It is take-out only.
Secondly, it was 1000° inside. That oven was on full blast!
I’m glad we stuck it out, because the food…. was delicious! Before ordering, I enquired about the meatballs: were they hand-made or frozen. He assured me they make them in house.
I ordered the Meatball sub and steak fries. Wife ordered the Italian beef sandwich. Kids cheese ravioli for out kiddo. The other two people that were with us got the Chicken Parmasean sandwich (and steak fries) and the Chicken Parmasean pasta dinner with side salad.
The meatballs were indeed not of the frozen variety. Everything was delicious!!!!
Employees were very friendly and helpful.
Definitely give this place a shot, but don’t expect to eat there. Get it to go!

They were nice enough to allow me to place an order 45 minutes before closing. I ordered the Cheese Ravioli. The food tasted pretty good but it didnt feel like it was cooked all the way. Will likely return

This place used to be great. New owners don’t seem to care about quality control.
We made a take out order through grub hub. We got 4 piece chicken dinner with au gratin potatoes and salad, with an order of Jalepenos poppers.
Poppers never made it to the door. We called the restaurant and they didn’t care and said to call grubhub. Once we opened up the rest of the food it was awful. The side salad had extremely old tomatoes and onions on it and a chunk of the core of the lettuce. And no, the onions weren’t supposed to be pickled…that’s how bad they are. The au gratin potatoes had a clear slice of Kraft American single on the top which they’ve never done before. And the chicken tasted like fish. No quality anymore. Sucks because the new owners have a restaurant down the street that is amazing! Utterly disgusted and disappointed. Wish we could get our money back!!! Not even eating this.

Front lady told me to wait in the car since wasn’t ready. I got there 50 min after calling for pick up order. I waited almost 2 hours in total.i think this Latino lady left my order in the kitchen and ignored. It is Sep. 12 today. When I went back to tell front lady she brought it out to me right away. Well it was ready probably hour ago. This is my first and last even pizza was okay just cold. Front lady was very nice and it wasn’t her fault. But I will go somewhere for pizza. They never treat me everywhere else and professional workers. I will remember this happened since this is my first purchase.

Just ordered very well done fries and got very undercooked fries…again. pizza bread was extremely burnt. Every order has had a problem for a while now, decided to give one more chance. And they forgot the side salad for the rib dinner. Failed.

Drove up 5hrs from Cincinnati to get daughter from college. Ordered a large cheese pizza, 2 salads, and a cheeseburger with fries. Didn’t get the pizza and instead of 2 salads was given 1 slice of pepperoni. Waited for the pizza/salads and when we got to the room found out it was the wrong pizza. Called and they made a fresh/correct pizza. Went back and the staff was very courteous and apologetic for the mistakes. Food was hot but mid. Ceasar salad was good and enough to share with 2 people. Second salad was supposed to have no olives but they were everywhere. Mid steak fries, mid cheeseburger and mid pizza. Be patient. Good people average food.

I recently visited MUG’s Pizza & Ribs in Buffalo Grove, and I couldn’t be more impressed! Their pizza is absolutely the best—delicious and perfectly cooked every time. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Plus, they prepare your order quickly, so you never have to wait long to enjoy your meal. And to top it all off, their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend, im a son of a baker, my dad would make the best crust for a pizza. He didn’t always put the right toppings but the crust made it worthy. Now I heavily judge pizza joints on crust but this place gets my approval, it made me remember my dad’s pizza.
