Where do i start… This place rocks! Last night me and my buddies went to get some 2am shrimp baskets and it was so tasty! I was salivating in the car as i brought it home and enjoyed with my friends. I definitely waa not expecting their pizza to be as good as it was! Im from the city n I know my pizza…5 stars on taste! Hours are awesome for a small town and they get to you pretty quickly! Ill probably never order from anywhere but mugs again…at least in Crystal Lake!

Mugs failure to plan shouldn’t be my fault. Place an order at 6:45 order didn’t get delivered until 845. Food was cold and disgusting and their excuse was because it’s the Bears game again their failure to plan should not have to cost paying customers that pay a ton of money for food or shut down your delivery option. When I called, I got nothing but attitude Again, they shouldn’t advertise delivery within an hour if that’s not true, at least say your food is going to be delivered, but it will be delivered cold

Well I ordered there that often you know every once in a while I ordered today beef with cheese make sure it’s cheesy and a pizza burger and a salad… Rose we can make us a pizza burger and they did they brought it here beef with cheese pizza burger no sauce on the burger no cheese on the burger no cheese on the beef sandwich so I call them they were going to bring me a beefy cheesy sandwich and a new pizza burger then I actually doubled it it was a single Patty to a double Patty guess what absolutely no sauce no cheese I took an Uber there brought the pizza burger the double Patty with no cheese and no sauce and I waited 20 minutes for them to make me a new one two patties with sauce we’re going to throw them in the grill right now 20 minutes sitting there….. Do not order from mugs

Took forever for the pizza to be ready. When we got it, the toppings were heavy, partially uncooked, nasty gritty bacon, and an unappetizing crust that was about 30% burned. Really nasty mouthfeel and almost no sauce on their multi-meat pizza that’s like their house special. Nothing in there was remotely worth eating, in excess like it was or otherwise. Garbage pizza, all variables were done worse than I’ve ever seen anywhere.

As a business you’d think this place didn’t want any business it is NOT AT ALL okay for ANY employee to be sitting in the lobby trying to get customers to leave it’s VERY VERY RUDE I was HIGHLY offended I come in to purchase food & you have an employee sitting there with an attitude “Well we do deliver it can be delivered to you” like I didn’t know as if it’s an inconvenience for me to be in there clearly you all need to LEARN & be taught all over again what CUSTOMER SERVICE is because speaking to a PAYING customer like that was COMPLETELY UNCALLED FOR I will NEVER come in your store again sorry for bringing my business I will also deter as much of your business as I possibly can YOU DONT SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS THAT WAY that ONE employee could cost EVERY EMPLOYEE their job be more mindful & RESPECTFUL before you end up OUT of business

I went last night with my friend Kyle Cosgray. Five stars cannot even begin to capture the magnificence of Mugs! The pizza was pretty good but I only really went there for the shrimp basket; and it did not disappoint! I recommend sending a scouting party first to see if they are handing out 30s as they come in quantities of 20-30. I highly recommend the shrimp basket. The pizza was pretty good but I like the shrimp basket even more! It was very delicious and the breading was good. I do not recommend the spaghetti, it isn’t bad but your better off getting the shrimp basket, it is very good (especially if you can get 27-30 shrimp per basket). I found that asking for a little extra shrimp goes a long way. Do not let the name fool you, Mug’s Pizza is better known for their shrimp basket, I highly recommend the shrimp basket. If you are contemplating takeout here I would highly encourage ordering a yummy shrimp basket! And just because the pizza is in the mug’s name doesnt mean no shrimp… it is very good! get pizza and shrimp basket its good. I like shrimp basket here it is good.
