I was craving for some indian food last night and thought to try mughlai. I don’t know why i haven’t tried the place before but thank god i did. The place was nice and cozy, and the staff were very attentive. The food and drinks were great as well. All i can say is i had a great dinner.

Superb food and staff! Mr. Girish, Mughlai’s owner, hosted our middle school students for lunch as part of our World Religion unit on Hinduism. The chef and all the workers taught us about the delicious food from the North of India, and the connections to Hinduism. All 29 students presented their group projects to the staff, and received feedback from the awesome manager, Mr. Dipin, and his staff, Mr. Roman, and Mr. Bashir. We all enjoyed amazing samosas, tikka masala and naan! Thank you Mughlai!

The Seekh Kebab was nice and spicy, the Tikki Masala had a good tomato flavor, the Vindaloo had a bit of potato and a nice kick, and the Korma was smooth and creamy.

The food was absolutely delicious, Indian cuisine is my absolute favorite and l have tried several restaurants in NYC. Mughlai has now become my favorite, the chicken biryani was so flavorful, the chicken tikka masala, the samosa and garlic Nana was sooo good. The waiter, Mohamed Roman was great, very attentive and kind. 5/5, I’ll be coming back!

The food here is fantastic, they have a great large menu and a ton of really good drinks. It’s nice that it’s so close to Central Park, it’s a really nice area. The owner is very sweet and attentive. She gave my girlfriend and I a free dessert. Roman, our server was great too. He recommended me his favorite chicken dish, and always kept on top of our waters and plates. I’m not usually full after eating at restaurants, but it was very filling. Anytime I’m in the area this is my go to spot.

I had the Mughlai Vegetable Curry. The flavor of the preparation was delicious. Sadly at least some vegetables were clearly frozen and had the classical frozen vegetable off-taste. I would have absolutely loved the dish otherwise. Service was pleasant, ambiance nice and calm.
