I’ve visited Mudmee a few times now, but sadly, it seems to be a case of diminishing returns. The quality of both the food and service has noticeably declined with each visit.

This time, the non-veg platter was disappointingly oily, and while the Pad Thai actually tasted good, it was served completely cold—which really ruined the dish. The biggest issue, however, is the layout. They have stuffed so many tables and chairs into the space that you can barely get in or out. The tables are tiny; once you have three plates down, you’re playing Tetris just to find a spot for your drink. I really wanted to keep liking this spot, but it’s getting harder to justify coming back.

We were looking for thai food to eat near liverpool street station, and found this restaurant just few minutes walk from the station. We waited for half an hour as it was dinner time so this is understandable. The food are amazing (and spicy!) as I believed this restaurant is run by thai people, and i believe it is authentic as I can hear some thai people coming in to have meals here. Overall really good foods, just really spicy if you have low pain tolerance lol

First time in London, went to this restaurant for dinner as it was close to our accommodation.

We ordered Green Thai curry with 2 portions of sticky rice and Pai Thai noodles with chicken. Service time was super quick. Food was tasty, specially the green Thai curry.
The Pad Thai noodles, however was a bit too oily and also the portion size could be better, it was quite less.

Total bill was 30 pounds.

The place is a bit small, we had our baby and stroller with us, it was a bit tight to fit in the stroller around the table. But otherwise okay, overall satisfactory experience (mainly for the food).

Great food, especially the Thai green chicken curry and coconut rice. Portion sizes were very good, and there was more than enough. The service was great. They found us a table late on a Friday evening with no reservation. Would visit again

I have been here a few times, the first time was 15 years ago, good to see it’s still here on Artillery lane, serving up reliably serving up the same menu. Quick lunch time service and friendly staff.

Amazing food truly authentic thai, we had 5 dishes and were impeccable, I felt in Thailand. I’ll definitely come back to eat more dishes! Thanks guys!

(If i can personally give an advice is to do something for the smell inside the restaurant, because might ruin somebody experience)

Located in the alleyway, this Thai restaurant still draws a good crowd during lunch, without service charge and an express menu, it’s quite the proposition

Manned by Thais, the food was very authentic, but we couldn’t seem to see a basil pork in the menu this time around and opted for a stir fry pork variant of sorts – came up to £11 with rice and egg.

Tom yum was also great, wasn’t too sour and had a good mix of flavour – one of the better ones I had.

Definitely will return to try their other selection in future!

We came to Mudmee for dinner and sat upstairs. We ordered one meat dish and one vegetarian dish since one of us is vegetarian. When the food came out, the “vegetarian” dish actually had meat in it.

We pointed it out to the waiter, thinking they’d just fix it, but instead he insisted we’d ordered meat and wouldn’t do anything about it. He was really unhelpful and dismissive—it honestly felt like we were being gaslit. They refused to replace the dish, which was really frustrating and ruined the meal. I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t exchange the dish especially as we definitely ordered vegetarian, and it’s a dietary requirement.

Even though the prices are cheap, the meat was really tough and way too salty. The restaurant itself wasn’t very clean either, which just added to the bad experience.

Cheap doesn’t make up for terrible service. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

Visited this little gem of a restaurant last Friday night. We were late arriving for our booked table yet the staff kindly seated us without fuss or delay, despite their being a queue waiting for tables. We were very grateful they had saved our reservation. The food was excellent, fantastic mixed sharing platter for starters and superb Panang curry with rice. Very reasonable prices for London. I cannot wait to go again. Very good friendly service from very busy waiters.
